Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches can be improved by having more Layer 3 capabilities; it depends on the use case. For our own use case, which is mostly core, I would wish they had enhanced Layer 3 capabilities. For example, with a MikroTik switch, in most cases, you get full Layer 3 capabilities, routing and switching in one box, whereas Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches have limited Layer 3 capabilities, so if they could improve on that to have a one-solution-in-a-box, it would be great. Besides that, the Layer 2 features are really good.
In my opinion, what can be improved in Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches is the interface. Since everything nowadays is web-based and graphical, it should incorporate more graphical elements. While the CLI mode is good, everyone is moving towards graphical interfaces, though Cisco also lacks in this area.
As for my assessment of Juniper's quality of service capabilities, I compare them with other OEMs such as Huawei and Cisco. However, Juniper has a problem: even registered partners cannot open tickets or take support directly with Juniper. In contrast, with other OEMs, customers or partners can directly open tech tickets. This is a drawback of Juniper specifically in Bangladesh. For Juniper, we rate their technical support through their distributor. We need to open the distributor. Local partners and local distributors cannot open direct tickets, but any level of partner with other OEMs such as Cisco can open a ticket directly, which is a connectivity advantage that Juniper lacks. Everything is okay, but Juniper needs to improve technical support for partners. Additionally, there is currently no available Juniper account manager in Bangladesh, and it is important to focus on the Bangladesh market.
I currently don't want to improve anything in Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches as I don't have any issues with the switch. In the next update, I would want to see new features. Some integration with AI could be a good idea since I heard that Juniper already has systems to deploy AI within the EX device, but I haven't had the opportunity to try that. In the future, I want to see better and optimized AI.

I always use CLI due to black screen issues, but sometimes, I need more than user-friendly operations for customers. If the management interface improves, it would be good.

EX switches take too long to boot when we restart them for maintenance. We need to minimize downtime. Another issue is the command line interface. Juniper's commands are different from other switches, so it's hard to remember them.

The VRRP feature and Virtual chassis should be included in a built-in license for smaller branch office switches instead of requiring a paid license.
