While the system can be configured remotely when it is being rolled out, it is not nearly as robust in terms of what remote features it offers. There is only a single way to configure the system, which limits the user’s ability to make changes to the knowledge of the person writing the command codes.
Juniper ethernet switches provide a robust level of network security. They have multiple levels of firewalls and filters built in to secure the networks. You will not have to turn to additional vendors for security.

Many switch models do not have any kind of firewall installed, which will force you to go out and seek security from other products and companies. Even if they do have firewalls, the actual offering of security features is slim.
