Overall, they have upgraded the user interface from Classic, which was Windows Classic, to a new UI. However, in the version we are using, there is no functionality change; only the UI has changed. There is no efficiency improvement, no better performance, no better operation flow, and no workflow change. The operations are merely a superficial change that is a little bit complicated. Our company has used Epicor for around 20 years, and there has not been much change in the last 12 to 15 years. Epicor Kinetic has a module-based pricing model. As customers, we have the license, but we cannot perform the certification; only their employees can do certification. They do not give certification to customers. Additionally, each module you add requires additional payment. For example, the HR module is not good, and the CRM is not good either. We already have it, but we cannot use it because it is not suitable for us. We use other modules such as engineering and finance, but we are not using them in full-fledged capacity. We are paying for six or seven modules but only use two or three, and if we want to use other modules, we have to pay extra. In the bundle they provide, only three or four modules are useful for us, and the others are not. We still have them, but we cannot exchange them for something else that might be advanced project management. Epicor Kinetic does not have anything regarding AI and machine learning. Currently, there is not really any integration in our systems; however, this may happen in the future since it is an ERP system. Everything is in one system, but we do not really have any integration currently. I believe they do have a REST API, but we have not integrated anything with it.
