VxRail integration with VMware is the key differentiator. VxRail comes with vSAN, management through vCenter, All flash and hybrid nodes, recover point for VM, and vSphere replication. It also has a feature of Smart fabric services, supported with Dell switches, VCF supports with SDDC and VxRail manager as core components. One click full stack automated and patch deployment is the wornderul feature which again differnciate it from all other HCI vendors.

One biggest change is the Future Proof Loyalty Program from VxRail with the following terms:
- 3-year Satisfaction Guarantee
- Hardware Investment Protection
- Predictable Support Prices
- All-Inclusive Software
- Never-Worry Data Migrations
- Cloud-enabled

This is for free, and no other competitors are providing the same.

- HyperFlex has encryption over expensive SED disks, however, VxRail has it enabled over the normal disks.
- HyperFlex has virtual storage appliance which is a VM managing the storage access, however, VxRail is based on built-in vSAN technology where no VMs or appliances are required to manage the storage.

Hello community,  I am the COO of a small computer software company. Which solution do you prefer: VxRail or HPE SimpliVity? I am looking for a comparison of the most recent versions. Thank you for your help.

Hi,  Refer to your questions if you are a COO of a small company then both solutions would be costly as a minimum of 3 nodes solution is required. Both are good at their places.  Let's say, VxRail is deeply engineered with VMware and they have strong integration and performance testing results. in terms of expansion, federation, compression/deduplication, etc., is much more improved. Whereas HPE SimpliVity used its own storage virtualization software and backup software. Whereas in VxRail you can also use any backup software. Apart from the discussion, my suggestion would be to go with simple X86 Servers(any OEM) with Sangfor( they have built-in administrative software (i.e. VCenter), built-in backup (no need to buy any other software), multi-hypervisor support, cost-effective even if you plan to provide SaaS service you can easily do it from your company immediately. They also provide vNGFW, vADC, vIAM, etc. It is an end-to-end HCI Solution with Security support included. Prices are very reasonable(I don't know your region). Thanks

SimpliVity is the most complete HCI solution for the datacenter and is technologically superior, but if in your case you only need to partially implement HCI and want to connect third-party products for backup or SAN, then VxRail would be the choice.

VxRail provides stable solutions for technical problems while at the same time not being too expensive for a company to invest in. Even if you are working with a limited budget, this platform offers freedom of choice and a number of different options. In contrast, Cisco HyperFlex HX does run on the more expensive side and cannot offer the same level of cost-effective solution. VxRail is able to provide both an ability to upgrade the system with an ever-growing library of resources as well as to provide powerful processors. This is something that I greatly appreciate. Being able to simply add upgrades to the system without necessarily having to worry about the system being bogged down is invaluable. The ability that it provides to apply updates to the system with ease is something worthy of note. If you add this to the fact that VxRail runs on multiple cores at 2 gigahertz or higher, then that means that in terms of ability, the VxRail is difficult to match. In terms of usability, it is hard to argue that VxRail delivers. It is pretty simple and easy to both set up and manage. Once the system is set up, all of the management tools are centrally located to assist in providing ease of use. The Cisco Hyperflex HX Series is both stable as well as reasonably easy to set up. Cisco has a step-by-step program guide that leads you through the process. Once it is set up, it is not prone to glitching or freezing. However, the pricing model that Cisco applies to this product requires users to pay a yearly subscription. This can end up being rather expensive in the long run. Conclusion Both systems offer stable solutions. Ultimately, VxRail is more cost-effective.
