What is our primary use case?
I mainly use TrendAI Vision One – Network Security for multiple products, including endpoint security, Deep Security, network security, email security, and Cyber Risk Exposure Management.
I incorporate TrendAI Vision One – Network Security as a key part of the deployment of these solutions, and in day-to-day activities such as post-implementation support and fine-tuning.
The design of deployments and activities with TrendAI Vision One – Network Security involves the deployment plan, the deployment activity, and the configuration of these products. After that, the work includes health checks, post-implementation support, and handling the queries raised by clients.
How has it helped my organization?
TrendAI Vision One – Network Security has positively impacted my organization through its proactive approach. For example, the Cyber Risk Exposure Management (CREM) module continuously assesses the environment. Recently, the latest PHP threat emerged, and clients faced difficulty identifying the assets with critical vulnerabilities. The CREM module in TrendAI Vision One – Network Security assessed the environment and provided data on how many endpoints, how many clients, and how many assets were infected with the PHP vulnerability, helping clients quickly work on those vulnerable points.
What is most valuable?
In my experience, the best features TrendAI Vision One – Network Security offers are a very user-friendly overall experience and a centralized platform, so clients can handle and manage everything from a single source. They can manage, assess, and work on everything, including the products I mentioned for email security, endpoint, server, and network. It correlates everything and shows it on a single console, so customers do not need to go to multiple management consoles, and they can get help with it.
TrendAI Vision One – Network Security saves time in managing features. From the single console, clients can see everything, including each log coming from endpoints, networks, emails, and all attack surface configurations, and they can manage everything from a single dashboard. This saves time.
The CREM module in TrendAI Vision One – Network Security is very underrated. Clients are not very aware of it, so they hardly use it. It provides a proactive approach to ongoing threats in the environment, and it is often underutilized.
The AI capabilities of TrendAI Vision One – Network Security are good because they show the compliance of your existing environment. One module, called Compliance Management, provides predefined compliances that you can customize to fit your organization's requirements.
The AI capabilities of TrendAI Vision One – Network Security are good. It has an inbuilt AI Companion that assesses your existing environment. If clients have difficulty understanding any workbench or vulnerabilities present on the Vision One console, they can rely on the AI Companion to show deep details, including where to start remediation and what needs improvement.
What needs improvement?
Regarding improvements for TrendAI Vision One – Network Security, I think users can take advantage of customized reports. Additionally, clients sometimes find it difficult to integrate third-party open-source integrations, so this area could be improved.
Regarding the needed improvements for TrendAI Vision One – Network Security, the deployment guide and migration guide can be better. If clients are migrating, for example, from on-premises to cloud or from one solution to another, the documentation should be more understandable for non-technical teams, helping them decide where to start.
I rate it nine out of 10 due to issues with documentation and support for deployment and migration-related activities. Sometimes I find it difficult for clients to understand the requirements for migration. If the guide or documentation is easier, clients can understand it better and decide where to start.
In email security with TrendAI Vision One – Network Security, I found one bug related to inbound emails. If we apply attachment policies, such as requiring analysis for incoming email attachments, the AI sometimes flags email signatures as attachments. This issue can lead to quarantining emails without malicious attachments, which is problematic.
