Trend Micro Integrated Data Loss Prevention Reviews

I am using Trend Micro Apex One as a SaaS. There are three to five security tools that I use including vulnerability protection, behavior detection, web and threat protection, and DLP. I have not implemented DLP in a full-fledged manner. I am using it only to fulfill my compliance requirements.

Trend Micro DLP allows me to scan and monitor emails for specific words, ensuring compliance with data loss prevention policies. The DLP system captures keywords from email headers and subjects, and if those words are present, the DLP system operates accordingly. I also use DLP for monitoring data at rest, data in transit, and external devices.

Our major use case is for data blocking and security, content categorization, and generating accessibility reports to track where data has been accessed, including email shares. Getting all these reports and keeping track of it all. 

The most valuable feature is its basic DLP functionality. However, for more advanced features, like single sign-on, we prefer Forcepoint due to the limitations of Trend Micro DLP.

The main use of the tool was to avoid infections and attacks on the organization. The purpose of having antivirus software installed in an environment is with the agenda to ensure that there is a product to avoid attacks on the organization.

My company prefers products from Trend Micro and Sophos since both products offer tools with integrated DLP features. In Trend Micro, users can opt for an add-on for which they just need to pay and can run it on the existing product. Users can configure, notify the policies, and define the DLP policies of a single agent.

We primarily deploy this solution for customers. It is for data leak prevention. 

This is an integrated DLP. It is a subset of the full-size DLP. The main advantage is that it can be rolled out fairly quickly compared to the full deal.

This is a fairly comprehensive solution. 

We find the initial setup to be very easy.

It is stable and reliable. 

We use the product for data security for a government client.

The platform's support structure for government-specific domain requirements could be improved.

We use the product for endpoint, email, and cloud application security.

They could improve the product's data loss policies.

We use Trend Micro mainly to monitor user activities, such as tracking the websites they visit and purchase items. Additionally, we focus on identifying and addressing antivirus threats. We used to explore a feature related to proxy but decided against it as an enterprise solution wasn't readily available for us.

Our primary use of Trend Micro revolves around end-user security. Integration with Active Directory has proven beneficial, allowing us to easily push updates or changes directly from the console.

The tool's most valuable feature is ransomware detection. 

Trend Micro Integrated Data Loss Prevention allows you to block or monitor if someone's taking the data out of the environment, based on the policy setting that you configured. The solution provides data leakage protection.

I'm not an administrator of Trend Micro Integrated Data Loss Prevention, but an end-user, and what I like about it is that it can detect events that could cause data loss. It's a good solution.
