Pulse Client is used as a client VPN or an SSL VPN

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature of Pulse Client is integration with Google authenticator for two-factor authentication.

What needs improvement?

Pulse Client could improve the reports. The reports are not in PDF and we can't check the details in the reports of users who are using the VPNs. 

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Pulse Client for approximately two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Pulse Client is stable.

The scalability of Pulse Client is good.

We have approximately 300 to 400 people using Pulse Client in my company.

We are satisfied with Pulse Client and we will continue to use it.

How are customer service and support?

The support from Pulse Client is good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously we were using Juniper VPN and we had a good experience.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Pulse Client is easy for administrators. The full setup takes a few days to complete.

What about the implementation team?

We have two people that do the deployment and maintenance of Pulse Client.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Pulse Client has two types of licenses. One is subsistence-based and the second is perpetual-based. The license cost is good, it is not very costly.

Pulse Client costs approximately 2,000 Indian Rupees per user. It is a one-time payment.

What other advice do I have?

Pulse Client is a very good solution. It is very easy to manage, and very stable. We did not receive any threats in the last two years.

I rate Pulse Client a seven out of ten.

What is our primary use case?

I use Pulse Client to connect to my company and my on-premise infrastructure.

What needs improvement?

Pulse Client could improve the system tokens for authentication.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used Pulse Client within the last 12 months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Pulse Client is stable. I never had any connections from the network.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of Pulse Client is good.

We have approximately 50 users using this solution in my company.

How are customer service and support?

I have not contacted the support from Pulse Client.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used Fortinet FortiClient and I prefer the UI over the one in Pulse Client. However, the stability of Pulse Client was better and this is why I chose Pulse Client.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Pulse Client is simple. However, the installation on the phone is complicated at first. 

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others is for them to choose a good system of authentication, it's important. You have a choice between MFA or token. MFA is easier.

I rate Pulse Client an eight out of ten.
