What is our primary use case?
In our organization, we rely on miniOrange PAM to limit and monitor employee access to privileged accounts. We have many employees who have access to privileged accounts, and we utilize the just-in-time privileged access management feature of miniOrange PAM. In just-in-time privileged access management, we provide users with time-bound access for their particular work, and the access is automatically revoked after the work is completed.
Another feature we utilize is session monitoring and controlling, which allows us to monitor every privileged session and receive recordings and detailed logs of every session that are useful for compliance. Additionally, miniOrange PAM provides a password vault that allows us to store our system passwords securely, and these passwords get rotated at regular intervals.
We have around twenty employees in our team who all require just-in-time access with miniOrange PAM. Whenever there is a requirement for any employee, they raise a ticket from their PAM dashboard, which I review. The ticket includes the reason and the amount of time access is needed. After I approve the ticket, the employee gets the access they need and can log in to the system without typing their password; they are logged in directly and can complete their work. Afterward, their access is automatically revoked after some time.
As an e-commerce website, our team uses miniOrange PAM to monitor all privileged activities of users, which helps us comply with regulations and avoid any cyber insider threats.
What is most valuable?
One of the most beneficial aspects of miniOrange PAM is the customization it offers; we can tailor the PAM solution to our requirements. miniOrange PAM is also very cost-effective. The best features are just-in-time access management and privileged session monitoring, along with the password vault and agentless architecture, which are significant features of miniOrange PAM.
miniOrange PAM's agentless architecture allows us to access it directly from our browser without requiring installation on our systems, which greatly simplifies our usage.
Since implementing miniOrange PAM in our organization, we have observed significant positive impacts on efficiency. Before we implemented PAM, we manually provided access to all end-users who needed it, but now that process is automated, improving our operational efficiency.
In terms of security, miniOrange PAM has reduced insider threats, making our systems much more secure. Regarding compliance, miniOrange PAM helps us comply with certain regulations in our e-commerce industry.
Our productivity has significantly improved since we added miniOrange PAM, and we recovered our costs within six months, saving a lot of money previously spent on other cybersecurity tools.
What needs improvement?
Currently, all the features we require are present in miniOrange PAM, although there are some advanced features under development that we do not require at this moment. There is nothing that I wish were easier or more user-friendly.

miniOrange PAM is quite stable based on my experience. We have been using it for about a year and have only experienced downtime once for around one hour, which was due to company improvements and new feature additions. Their PAM solutions undergo updates overnight, and they inform us beforehand.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
miniOrange PAM claims to be scalable for all types of organizations, from small businesses to enterprise levels. We are currently a medium-sized business, and miniOrange PAM can easily handle our growth.
How are customer service and support?
miniOrange PAM offers top-notch customer support; whenever I email them with questions, someone is always ready to assist, and I typically receive a response within ten minutes. I would rate their customer support ten out of ten.

How was the initial setup?
miniOrange PAM provides all three types of deployment: on-premises, cloud, and both public and private cloud. In our organization, we implemented miniOrange PAM on our private cloud, and it took about seven days to complete the proper setup.

I purchased miniOrange PAM from their website by filling out the price quotation form, even though I saw it available on the AWS Marketplace.
What was our ROI?
In terms of return on investment, we have already recovered our investment within six months, saving money that we previously used for other cybersecurity tools. Additionally, our productivity improved, enabling us to save time and focus on more productive tasks.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
We use Amazon Web Services for our private cloud setup, and miniOrange PAM charges two dollars per user. We have a license for twenty end-users and one admin, where the admin cost is five dollars per month. Our total monthly cost is sixty-five dollars, which is our setup cost.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before deciding on miniOrange PAM, we evaluated other options by taking demos from top PAM providers such as CyberArk PAM, BeyondTrust PAM, and One Identity. CyberArk PAM was mostly suitable for enterprise-level organizations and was very costly, while BeyondTrust also had high costs. One Identity was reviewed poorly due to inadequate support and issues with their PAM, leading us to choose miniOrange PAM.
What other advice do I have?
My advice for others considering miniOrange PAM is that if you are looking for a cost-effective solution that includes almost every essential feature that PAM solutions typically offer, you should consider miniOrange PAM. miniOrange PAM provides all types of basic features, including just-in-time access, privileged elevation and delegation, endpoint privilege management, and some advanced features that are found in more expensive PAMs.
If you are in the market for a cost-effective privileged access management solution that includes almost every necessary PAM feature, miniOrange PAM is an excellent choice. I believe miniOrange PAM is the best option currently available, and I would rate this solution ten out of ten.
