Some of the features we find very valuable and use a lot, are retention sets.
IBM Spectrum Protect Plus provides high stability and scalability, integrating well with Oracle and other platforms. Its ease of use and agentless configuration are favorable, and deduplication is attractive. However, it lacks security integration, data validation, and iOS snapshot support, limiting versatility. Missing replication and complex configuration pose challenges, while integration with Spectrum Protect needs improvement. Current limitations include handling malware and ensuring data validity without immediate validation or corruption risk measures.
