A robust product that needs to improve the functionality it offers related to API lifecycle management
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a six to seven out of ten. My company consists of around 7000 employees, and we use the solution as an integrated service in around 300 to 400 systems, both internally and externally, making it a huge number. Our company uses the solution every minute and every second, and we can't function without it.

"The ability to master the process in one location."
"I am a part of the software developing team and I mainly use this solution for the integrating applications."
"We are using Oracle Service Bus to connect between API management and microservices, for example, for data transformation, bringing data from a specific form in one service to another form in a different service."
"Oracle Service Bus is a great tool for handling data and we use it to bridge the gap between the more modern technologies we have and our older technologies like mainframe."
"We've been pleased with the level of technical support."
"There are always continuous improvements that are happening."
"The communication between applications is already defined, which means that you don't have to redefine your service infrastructure at the lower level."
"It's very stable and reliable."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that the performance is robust."
"If you can afford it and you are looking for a high-standard and high-performing solution for your use case with excellent support, you should go for it."
"The most valuable feature is that it is a service-oriented architecture, SOA-based."
"The technology is really easy to learn."
"The stability of this solution is excellent."
"The GUI and IDE features of this solution are easy to work with and to develop, and we find application management easy using this solution."

Cons

"The inconvenient part about working with this product is that it's very heavy, requiring a lot of people and a lot of resources."
"There is significant room for improvement in the monitoring capabilities."
"The logging and error-handling framework can be improved."

"An area for improvement in Oracle Service Bus is the roadmap for its product launch. Currently, it's unclear, so Oracle should develop a roadmap for version 12c, so people can see what's coming out of that version of Oracle Service Bus. Cloud hosting is an additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of Oracle Service Bus."
"The main inconvenience is the composition between services; if you have six or seven services you call in the same process, it's very difficult and that's the main issue."
"Migration to cloud solutions or products should be made convenient, transparent, and easily understandable."
"Our version does not have cloud capabilities. Containerization is not supported."
"The initial setup process could be easier."
"In the next release, there should be improvements made to the API manager."
"Whenever there is some kind of challenge or whenever there is a client issue, when we want to report it and offer some proactive solutions, we don't get proper assistance or support."
"Issues with the support, the fees, and the termination of the professional services are reasons we are looking for other solutions."
