A robust product that needs to improve the functionality it offers related to API lifecycle management
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a six to seven out of ten. My company consists of around 7000 employees, and we use the solution as an integrated service in around 300 to 400 systems, both internally and externally, making it a huge number. Our company uses the solution every minute and every second, and we can't function without it.

"I am a part of the software developing team and I mainly use this solution for the integrating applications."

"The flexibility offered by Oracle Service Bus, especially in the latest versions, includes abstracting underlying processes and enabling drag-and-drop mappings from source to destination."
"Overall it is a pretty good solution."
"It is stable."
"The ability to master the process in one location."
"It is lightweight and one can easily integrate with different applications, databases, JMS, or web services through different protocols."
"This is a user-friendly product stack and provides you with a reliable, robust, and high-performance Integration solution."
"TIBCO has proven to be far superior, and we later realized that the capabilities that TIBCO had were far, far superior to what Oracle was able to offer so we chose TIBCO instead."
"The most attractive and beneficial feature is the ease of development."
"The GUI and IDE features of this solution are easy to work with and to develop. We find application management easy using this solution. It is a stable product"
"This solution, as well as other products from TIBCO, are helping us grow."

"The most valuable features are the monitoring, ease of use, and easy to understand development GUI."

Cons

"The interface console is very slow. Even in production, we need to increase the RAM or CPU. And even after that, the performance is still not good in production."
"What needs improvement in Oracle Service Bus is the connectivity between adapters such as the Salesforce adapter and database adapters. The limited number of adapters compatible with Oracle Service Bus makes you want to switch to a different solution."
"It needs to support more adapters, because the integration points keep changing and new things keep coming up. It also needs to be more scalable."
"There are times when I select components in composite and they do not appear, and I cannot figure out why."
"Security needs to be more integrated."
"With the most recent version, 12c, I'm still getting used to using it, learning how to use it, how to configure it. The Oracle documentation is OK, but there aren’t a lot of good examples for me to follow."
"The inconvenient part about working with this product is that it's very heavy, requiring a lot of people and a lot of resources."
"The main inconvenience is the composition between services; if you have six or seven services you call in the same process, it's very difficult and that's the main issue."
"We'd like to see improvements in product support."
"Migration from BW 5.x to 6.x still has issues."
"The biggest disadvantage of TIBCO is that it is expensive; it's just too costly."
"The stability of their latest version is not on par with their classic version 5.X."
"In the next release, there should be improvements made to the API manager."
"I don't like the product's API management platform, as it doesn't offer users enough functionality to help with API lifecycle management, making it a product that is way behind its competitors."
"In the next release, there should be improvements made to the API manager."
"The solution is very expensive when you use multiple components, it would b better if this could be reduced."
