Has the ability to give people access, but it should include more analytics capabilities
Omada Identity is quite good at providing a clear roadmap for getting additional features deployed. We've always been able to have good discussions with Omada's product managers about the features we would like to have. It's a good environment for discussion, and I've heard from others that Omada is good at listening to customers and getting features into production within a year or so. Omada partially helped us to deploy IGA. However, the company I was working for needed to take more charge and do things a bit differently. It was not possible for Omada to do that for us. Omada did help, and it was not Omada's fault that it took longer. It's too early to say if the solution's identity analytics has affected the manual overhead involved with our identity management. It should have had a positive effect because it should be easier to request more things automatically. Since that's not in production yet, we couldn't measure the effect, but it looked promising. Our Omada solution is set up to remove an employee's access as soon as that employee leaves our organization. This setup has positively affected our organization's security because we have less overall access. Omada Identity was deployed as a SaaS solution in our organization. I think Omada Identity is flexible enough to be used by both smaller and bigger companies. Based on what I've seen, Omada's out-of-the-box connectors are more than sufficient. I advise users to assess their data quality and make a clear cleanup plan before using the solution because Omada is not well-suited as a cleanup tool. Overall, I rate Omada Identity a seven out of ten.

Manages user identities and application access in a centralized way from a single console/portal
OpenIAM provides an Identity and Access Management platform which includes identity and access management (i.e., SSO, Multi-factor Authentication, password synchronization, and RBAC). Below are the features : Lower Cost of Implementation & Total Cost of Ownership: * OpenIAM uses tools, such as Groovy script to implement business rules, Grails to create new UI functionality, Activiti for workflow, PowerShell, etc. It also support web services. So it is important to find skilled technical resources readily and at reasonable cost in comparison to the large vendors, which use proprietary tools for developing custom connector or product customization as per business requirement. * OpenIAM is also based on Open Source technologies (i.e., JBoss, Apache, MySQL, CentOS), so Total Cost of Ownership is very low in comparison to other IAM products. * Compliance with standards simplifies integration. * Subscription-based license model. Ease of Use: OpenIAM offers a single unified Admin console and a single unified self-service portal for customers to use and manage the IAM suite (i.e. Identity Management, Access Management, and Multi-Factor Authentication). Modern Architecture: * Built from the ground up, not through acquisitions and proprietary technology. * SOA architecture * Cloud-enabled Enterprise Grade Product: Even though OpenIAM is based on Open Source technologies, it is: * Built on industry standards * Simplified integration * Uses established industry frameworks

Great user and account management and reduces our user lifecycle time
Scalability is good, but if the number of users significantly increases, it requires different web servers and becomes difficult to manage. In addition, SailPoint IdentityIQ doesn't provide any SIM tool, so we have to implement it if required. Without it, we have to work locally, going into the logs for eServers by ourselves, and there isn't a central log factory where we can see all the logs for the SailPoint IdentityIQ. The number of users depends on the project. There are projects with millions of users and others with 100,000 or 300,000 users. Also, the number of people required for deployment depends on the number of servers and users. However, if I were to estimate, it requires an average of three people, but if the server and the UI server increase, it becomes challenging to look at the logs. Compared to SailPoint IdentityIQ, Saviynt provides a way to select servers. From the UI, you can choose different servers and see the logs. SailPoint IdentityIQ is being used at full capacity, and I am currently working as an architect for both Saviynt and SailPoint IdentityIQ. If I were to compare solutions, there is no comparison with SailPoint in the market right now, and SailPoint is way ahead. Solutions like Saviynt and Omada have features such as logs, clarity of the risk and SODs that are not as good in SailPoint IdentityIQ.

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is fairly priced for an on-premise environment, but for the cloud environment, I am not that happy with the pricing."
"My client deals directly with the Omada Identity team in terms of licensing. I never look at pricing, so I'm not aware of how much the solution costs, but it's worth the money. Often, when you begin to use Omada Identity and it takes a while to set up, it'll be irreversible, and you'd depend on and focus more on the functionality of the solution, rather than its price tag."
"It is expensive. Fortunately, I had a very good procurement manager on my side, but they are expensive. The closest competitors are also very expensive. You get a full-fledged solution that can do everything you dream of, but you pay for everything."
"It is licensed per managed user per year."
"Omada Identity offers a reasonable price point, but it will increase as we transition to the cloud."
"The pricing is okay."
"It is not cheap. It is expensive, but compared to what we did almost three years ago, it is value for money. It is worth it."
"Omada is too expensive. We are in the automotive industry. The pricing might be high because most of the other customers are in the insurance or banking sectors, but it's steep for an auto supply company."

"It is a costly solution. Its cost, for sure, should be reduced."
"SailPoint IdentityIQ is too expensive for small and medium companies. It is an expensive product."
"You are able to get discounts if you plan to use the tool for the long-term i.e. discounts for 5+ years of usage."
"The product is expensive. I rate its pricing an eight out of ten."
"I rate the solution a seven on a scale where one is cheap and ten is too expensive. In short, the solution falls under the higher side of pricing."
"The pricing is a little bit higher than other tools."
