Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft External Attack Surface Management helps improve the visibility of my exposed vulnerabilities and provides an overview of my security posture across the globe."
"It seems to be better at protecting from cyberattacks."
"Its detection rate is valuable. It is really an easy product to install and manage. It is quite effective at what it does, and if needed, it can also be co-managed, which means 24 hours and seven days a week monitoring through a SOC."
"Centralized visibility is valuable. We can view what kind of virus or threat exists, where it has traveled, and how it started. A security analyst can use just this one console to view all the information."
"TrendAI Vision One helps with centralized visibility and protection across multiple layers."
"The workbench alerts provide valuable insights into attack chains and relevant information, while Observer techniques give a comprehensive overview of ongoing activities."
"TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit, and enables us to use different products with a flexible license, helping to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats through rapid responses and predefined playbook templates."
"We haven't had any issues with configurations or customizations."
"We had a quick deployment. The solution is easy to set up."
"IPS is one of the greatest parts of Trend Micro, followed by Anti-Malware and then Web Reputation."

Cons

"The integration is not as seamless compared to competitors like Palo Alto."
"Further integration across different Microsoft products would be an improvement."
"With Microsoft, support is always crazy, it's not easy to get support."
"I believe that the interface could be more user-friendly. At times, it is challenging to locate certain features, and they need to reorganize the user interfaces."
"The solution only supports Windows and Mac. It would be helpful if it could support other OS, such as Linux."
"Technical support is not good. Their technical team should be more competent."
"In terms of improving Trend Vision One, it might sound silly, yet it seems notoriously uncooperative with middle clicks and opening sections in new tabs. I'm a big tab browser, and it feels hitting a brick wall when I have to refresh in a new tab or make a copy of a tab to move forward."
"Results were delayed."
"The integration with third-party tools and with on-premises Active Directory needs improvement."
"It would be better if it were more user-friendly. It would also be better if the implementation were more straightforward."
"In new versions I would like to see better implementation of the reporting features, especially in regards to EDR visibility."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Competitors offer comparable solutions at slightly lower prices, so Vision One has room to reduce its pricing by 15 percent, given that Trend Vision One charges approximately $10 per endpoint."
"The pricing of the solution is okay. There is a need for me to look into the new pricing plan introduced by the solution recently."
"Trend Micro solutions are very expensive compared to other solutions. Even though everything is in one console, each feature requires a separate license."
"It is costly. It is not that affordable for a small organization. Only big organizations can afford it. It is a new feature that has been added, so its price is fair. Its licensing is probably subscription-based. It is for one or two years."
"While the pricing and licensing for Trend Vision One are generally acceptable, the need to purchase additional features separately adds complexity."
"Vision One's pricing is extremely competitive. They're probably the lowest-cost provider that has this feature set."
"When I compare it to its peers that can do the same, it is cost-effective."
"The solution is fairly priced."
