We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We don't have any complaints about the software. According to my team, it's a very good tool that's very intuitive.""All in all, LiveAction LiveNX has become an indispensable tool for maintaining and improving our network's reliability and performance, ultimately supporting our organization's goal of providing timely and dependable delivery services.""The alerting feature is very good because it allows you to set MOS alerts at various network junctures or data points.""Its analytical capability is really good.""The intention and the idea of the filter is great.""The product has a very good graphical interface.""One of the valuable features is the ability to create CLI scripts on the fly to fix any issues. We were using it for QoS modeling to ensure that we were properly modeling QoS, and it basically said here is what you need to fix to get this QoS done, whether it is ACL or something else. It would either push or recommend. If you have the right credentials, you could also push. It is very good if you are a Cisco shop. It gives you reporting, latency, and bandwidth utilization for your applications, so you can do good capacity management planning. There are a lot of pieces that LiveNX can give you. It is a total NPM solution for SD-WAN."

"The technical support is fantastic, and they are fast to respond.""It greatly assists small and medium-sized businesses in using the ITSM, alerting, and monitoring features.""The feature that we have found most useful are the dashboards, which can be built in minutes using this solution, allowing multiple products, thresholds, or any given required metric to be seen in a single area.""The most valuable features of OpsRamp include a single pane of glass, event correlation, personalized dashboards, and a single platform solution.""Predictive analysis is a valued feature.""The most valuable feature of OpsRamp is the creation of the dashboards of the infrastructure for the CPU memory and SQL servers. Additionally, URL monitoring through Selenium scripting and the availability dashboard is useful.""The feature we found most valuable in OpsRamp is alert generation because whenever there is any kind of spike on any virtual machine, the solution generates alerts based on the thresholds we implemented. We have integrated our ideas and tools with OpsRamp, so alerts are generated, then we notify the customers. That's the main feature we like about OpsRamp because we don't have to monitor each resource. Instead, OpsRamp does the monitoring for us, and it generates the alerts based on the thresholds.""We find the products seamless integration with Zendesk to be extremely valuable to our business."

Cons
"Improved documentation and more responsive customer support can help in addressing issues faster.""It is not as robust as other NPM solutions. For instance, there is a problem while labeling specific applications. It works well with well-known applications, but when you have to put in new applications that are not very known and set them up with names, ports, URLs, or some protocols, it is not as intuitive.""The tool crashes sometimes when we try to pull reports simultaneously.""Sometimes the solution does not register devices properly and that is a bug.""The only downside to this software is the price.""This is a horrible solution and I think everything needs to be improved.""They need to create a more simplified UI."

"I would like to see two things. The first is a self-service portal for the cloud, any cloud deployments, and the second is maturity validation towards ITSM, internalizing OpsRamp TSM. As a result, instead of integrating with more mature tools similar to ServiceNow, people will use OpsRamp.""We have 55 AVDs, and patches might roll out to 32-35 initially, with the rest taking a month or so. OpsRamp can't detect them all directly. Since clients want patches applied as soon as possible, we manually patch those remaining devices.""An area of improvement would be application monitoring.""What's lacking in OpsRamp is process automation, and if there is, I wish there could be more of it, other than just spikes, or it would be better if the alerts can be generated based on different matrices. That option is absent in OpsRamp at the moment, and it would be valuable if that could be provided in the solution, especially if there's any kind of security issue in the VM.""Automation is currently quite complex and needs to be improved.""OpsRamp could improve the critical alerts. We have been receiving some false alerts when monitoring. For example, the alert shows the site is down, but when we try to do manual access to the URL, it's accessible.""OpsRamp cannot be scaled for big and large company deployments.""The user interface of this product requires some changes as it is not inclusively user-friendly. For example, the performance indicators are color-based , which means that they are confusing for anyone who is color blind."
