We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Pulse Connect Secure is a stable solution.""It is customer-friendly. It is quite easy for our users to connect. There is also the flexibility of the features.""The tool's most valuable feature is remote access.""I can safely say this is one of the best solutions I have seen for VPN access. It can achieve what other vendors may not be able to. This product will train you about exactly what an SSL should be. You can leverage it to do whatever you wish, the way you wish to do it. This is the solution if you want a perfectly scalable product for your enterprise that can help your mobile users and integrate with the latest technologies.""The most valuable features of Pulse Connect Secure are multi-factor authentications, and VPNs and SSL VPNs we are using.""The product is easy to use.""The best feature of Pulse Connect Secure is the good security it provides. It gives a secure connection to your network.""The most valuable features of the solution are reliability and uptime."

"The platform provides a stable environment for operations and quickly creates new environments. Additionally, it offers efficient flexibility.""The performance is good, and it is easy to configure.""If an outside person tries to track or hack information, it is not possible without us being notified.""The most valuable feature depends on the use case of the clients. However, one feature I like is the Kiosk Mode. In the Kiosk Mode in most cases, the clients only can make available one application developed by the solution and permit the employee or the final client to use only this one application for interaction. This provides a security control layer limiting only one application functionally.""The bigger vendors like VMware, Insight, and MobileIron can assign engineers to customers. You can work with them to develop the right competency to use the product.""It was easy to use.""Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly.""The feature with the highest rating for me is its employee management. I can also praise how versatile it is in terms of operating systems. It has good support for multiple operating systems and can easily manage them all. Not just that, but it can also support any kind of tool that can be run on all these operating systems."

Cons
"The product could use additional dashboards.""The solution can be improved by addressing the failure to connect on public 2-step networks.""The most valuable features of Pulse Connect Secure are the user-friendly connection and interconnecting.""I would like the solution to be more secure and compatible. It also needs to improve integration with other systems.""An area for improvement in Pulse Connect Secure is the concurrent connections, particularly needing a license if you want to use Pulse Connect Secure with your Microsoft or Windows machine.""The solution must be more user-friendly.""Zero test FDP (Fraud Protection and Prevention) should be improved.""Setup is complex. A few users had some issues with it."

More Ivanti Connect Secure Cons →

"The solution's pre-stage enrollment could be improved.""We'd like more useful support.""They could provide DLP integration for applications and specific user account security.""From an identity perspective, there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to integration with other solutions. I would say it needs more capabilities in terms of direct integrations, including cloud identity solution integrations.""There is no Apple zero-day support for updates.""I would like to see improvements made to both the support, and the pricing.""The application itself individuals are getting annoyed with it. They are looking to integrate with ABB applications regardless of whether it is Android or iOS based. We are wanting to shift from this application because of the integration issues we are facing.""The SaaS environment is not very responsive at times, so the performance can be improved in that regard."

  • "You should take out a dedicated license agreement of your MDM fleet and invest heavily in innovating in this space."

  • "The pricing and licensing are affordable. They are not too high."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below is some feedback from our PeerSpot users who are currently using the solution:

PeerSpot user Patrick B., Cybersecurity Architect at a tech services company, says, "Its UI is extremely easy to use whether you're an advanced user or a novice user. When I first opened it up and had to learn the product, I was easily a novice. By the end of the third month, I was digging into the backend of the system and using it as a highly advanced user to accomplish what I needed to accomplish, and I was able to do it through the UI mostly."

Roshan T., Partner Manager North America at a tech company, mentions how satisfied he is with the product, saying, "You can put all your applications on a mobile device, be it a phone or tablet. It is secure and easy to use. Because it is centrally managed, you don't have to do any configuration on the phone. I just got the phone and connected to the central applications. I just downloaded one thing and everything got rolled out. Email, calendar, and other things were deployed centrally. If you don't have AirWatch, you have to configure your phone manually. For example, you need to deploy and configure your email manually and then synchronize everything. It is much simpler when a mobile device is centrally managed."
