The authentication process is good, but sometimes the responsiveness to requests for enhancement is very slow. I sometimes face issues with platform stability, flexibility in configuration, and limited API availability. I experience downtimes two to three times per year. OneLogin's support team is sometimes very slow to respond. There is a feature limitation with mapping, as OneLogin does not provide one-to-all mapping. For client deployment, we need to create separate mappings for each request, and we cannot use the same mapping for multiple requests. Other areas that have room for improvement are related to API limitations. If a client requires more APIs, such as 5,000 or 6,000, OneLogin charges more. The API rate limits by default or the standard limit should provide more than 5,000. Additionally, OneLogin could provide more flexibility in configuration. These are the main limitations I have identified with OneLogin.

Pros

"The most valuable features of Imprivata Identity Governance are automation and integration."
"Imprivata Identity Governance is very stable; in the past four years, I've had zero interruption to our service, and if there was an interruption, it was due to expirations or network issues."
"The most valuable feature of Imprivata Identity Governance is the integrations it offers."
"The return on investment I have seen with OneLogin would go close to eighty percent if we combine time and money and everything, because it let us get rid of the servers, which was a quite high-cost item on our budget."
"The outcomes since adopting OneLogin are very positive, saving our time with a reduced workload by 30 to 40 percent, and user provisioning, including onboarding or off-boarding, has become very fast by 60 to 80 percent."
"Since implementing OneLogin by One Identity, the biggest positive change I've noticed is how much smoother and faster my workday feels."
"OneLogin's ability to provide a seamless end-user experience for signing in and authenticating to needed applications is pretty good."
"Since implementing OneLogin, the HR and IT teams save a significant amount of time, completing projects in one day that used to take one to two days."
"OneLogin positively impacts my organization by significantly reducing the time required for user onboarding, decreasing dependency on management, enabling my IT team to focus on other critical tasks, improving overall effectiveness, and reducing manpower costs for the organization."
"The directory integration and SCIM provisioning are probably the best features compared to competitors."
"Documentation."

Cons

"The GRC portion of the product still needs improvement."
"Imprivata Identity Governance could improve by allowing different permissions per application. You should be able to relegate what group has a certain level of access and another group has a different level of access. Currently, everyone has the same access. I believe this feature is supposed to be in version 7."
"Imprivata Identity Governance could improve by allowing different permissions per application."
"The only downside I see with OneLogin is that there are some limitations with using the apps provisioning APIs that can lead to some termination or provisioning action not being completed."
"OneLogin could be improved if there were easy configuration options."
"OneLogin could be improved by offering a more intuitive admin interface and simpler configuration for advanced features and integrations."
"However, the downfall rests with the lack of an on-premises solution or cloud in some areas, which prevents OneLogin from accessing some significant markets. Additionally, the weakness of their CIAM module is a concern."
"As organizations grow, managing complex role structures, handling exceptions, and integrating older or custom applications can take more effort than expected."
"The reporting and the dashboard customization could be more flexible, and troubleshooting federation or integration issues can sometimes take more effort than expected."
"One thing that can be improved is that we got some false positives when remote employees were switching networks in the first week, which took some time to fine-tune and settle as per our environment, so that can be more simplified in the initial start."
"Sometimes there is a slight delay in getting the code, but overall it is smooth and reliable."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Imprivata Identity Governance's pricing is probably in the middle ballpark."
"Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
"OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
"We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
"While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
"The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
"The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
"It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
"The price of the licensing is fine."
