Users seek better SQL capturing, lower pricing, cloud compatibility, improved UI, integration, stability, and enhanced reporting for Oracle Audit Vault.
We cannot be competitive by price alone, though in terms of quality, Imperva SecureSphere Database Security is the best compared to Russian import products and building products such as Garda, which attempt to copy Imperva's data activity monitoring and database firewall functionality.
The archiving functionalities should be enhanced to allow easy conversion of archived logs into CSV or Excel formats for data analysis.

Imperva Data Security Fabric is costly but valued for robust features; consider trials to assess fit for your organization.
Oracle Audit Vault's value varies; robust features appeal, but high costs and setup can deter without special agreements.
The price is high, but it is not as high as competitors like IBM, Guardian, and Oracle.

Real-time data monitoring and policy-based activity blocking enhance security and awareness
The development mode on the platform needs improvement. For example, the archiving functionalities should be enhanced to allow easy conversion of archived logs into CSV or Excel formats for data analysis. When I need to investigate with archived data, the inability to export to these formats can be limiting. Making this process easier would be beneficial for reviews.
Yves Moro - PeerSpot reviewer
Provides good security, and is helpful for auditing the data and seeing what's happening
Currently, you need two servers: one for Audit Vault and one for the firewall. If they can combine them into one server, it will be great because it is costly to have two servers. It will also make its installation easier. I have heard that in the new version, there will be only one server for both. I use it only for security purposes, and they can continue to improve it with more security tools and features. It should be powerful like FortiGate. When it becomes powerful like FortiGate, people will only go for this solution for their infrastructure. Their support could be faster.
