Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We find the ease of using the solution valuable.""The user interface is quite good.""The best thing is that the data storage is pretty much free. I can store as much data as I want, from different sources.""All our client SLAs and daily and weekly dashboards are tracked on Domo.""The ETL tools they have in Redshift are pretty awesome... I can work in Redshift to get the data from AWS and work in Redshift, in Domo, to create Transforms and the data structure we need...""It has the best GUI. And it already has an ETL tool embedded in it...""One feature which I have found to be very interesting is the Beast manager, where you can create calculated fields. They are shared in one common repository so someone else can use the same calculated fields; they don't have to rewrite or reinvent the APIs.""The ability to create custom connectors was useful because you never know, with customers, what platform they want to utilize or what data they have. It gave us a lot of flexibility in being able to bring data in from different places."

"The user interface is very, very good.""I work in HR and am fond of automation. I like the tool's email automation and integration with Outlook.""I like the forms which help us to get information.""The most valuable feature is the performance.""The flexibility and speed in modifying and creating processes are great features. If we have a process in mind, we can usually create it within ten minutes.""The support team responds fast.""Kissflow is intuitive and easy to use, and I haven't faced any errors using the solution so far.""The most valuable feature is APIs. Its integrations are very flexible, allowing developers to connect multiple applications like DocuSign, Salesforce, OpenText, and SEB."

Cons
"If Domo had a Copilot feature, you could interact with the graphs and talk to the graphs and tables.""There were very few cases on some of the tables, the data tables, where I wish there was an additional feature or two.""Domo or any other BI tool has room for improvement, in particular, in the calculations. User-guided material isn't available for calculations. The tool, though user-friendly, could also be more customizable, especially when you're building a dashboard. Data integration could also be improved in Domo because even if the tool connects to multiple data sources, some hiccups still arise and need to be addressed.""I would like to see more dashboard creation options.""It's too early for me to say that something needs improvement, but there are times when there have been some flexibility issues with Domo... Tableau has a window function which can be integrated into a calculated field. That is missing in Domo so you have to make changes to the data set using ETL or SQL.""It's quite slow. We are using about 2,000,000 rows of data. Creating certain reports takes almost a couple of minutes, which should not be the case.""There's a learning curve before you can get used to the solution.""One of the improvements that could be made is related to improved storage options."

"Sometimes some notifications don't appear on the mobile app.""The UI, though is pretty friendly and easy to use, can be improved in some aspects.""There is a lag in the delay between API calls.""There is room for improvement in terms of stability.""KiSSFLOW needs to improve its integration.""Some of the tool's fields only accept certain types of text. The input fields are inflexible.""If Kissflow can help users to be able to organize the company manuals and information, the blogs, and everything into one resource, that would be awesome.""In future releases, it would be interesting to have a repository or portal within KiSSFLOW where users can interact with the KiSSFLOW community."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I believe that the investment in Domo was worthwhile because it allowed for the organization to jump in quickly, with little training. There are different plans available based on the requirements."
  • "They've built an "app economy." Some of them are really expensive, so they're not for startups and smaller companies. They're more like enterprise tools. We couldn't afford some of them, because they were so crazy expensive. But if I was working for a bank, insurance company, or some bigger corporation then, for sure, you could justify those prices... It was silly expensive back then and it probably still is, or even more expensive."
  • "We are making money from Domo, and all our clients are happy with the information that they receive from it."
  • "It is on the pricier end."
  • "Domo is slightly costly but it's much cheaper than some."
  • "I'm not sure about pricing, but I believe Domo is quite costly. Prior to joining this organization, I had a Domo license with my former employer and I think that license was around $500 to $600 annually. That was for a single license. I think it varies, depending on the organization that is acquiring Domo."
  • "For about 100 users our cost is $95,800."
  • "Because it's software as a service, it's more expensive on the face of it. But there are a lot of variables. I don't have to pay for servers or for infrastructure. I don't have to pay labor for my IT organization to set up or maintain the environment. I don't have to pay for them to upgrade the software, and test it, etc., because when it rolls out, it is transparent and seamless for us. But, because of that, it costs more, I imagine, than Sisense, or Yellowfin, or Power BI. A lot of those make it sound like they're inexpensive, but when you add in all the hidden costs and all of the overhead, it's probably comparable."

  • "This is an affordable product and everything is included in the subscription."
  • "Kissflow's licensing cost is lower than other products. However, the contract has changed with the second version they have given us, which is the low-code one."
  • "The product costs $15 per user per month."
  • "Your company must subscribe to the solution if you create a business account."
  • "The license is very expensive."
