Visual workflows have accelerated our agent POC while better UI and observability still need work
My personal experience with Dify's UI is that it is not my favorite, as it can be improved a little bit, and sometimes the UI feels a little bit buggy. I am not sure if that is because it was a self-hosted version. The documentation can also be improved a little bit more. I think not a lot of people are using Dify currently, so that is why the documentation is not very great. If the documentation was improved, that would also be a really good thing. Currently, Dify could improve by offering better observability like other platforms. We currently use OpenAI Agents SDK, which requires you to build everything by code, but the observability is really good. It has OpenAI Traces, and you can basically trace everything for a conversation. If Dify had that kind of tracing functionality, that would be great.

Automation expertise grows and enhances global collaboration
The most valuable aspect is the ability to integrate with over 20,000 applications, which is a superior feature compared to Make.com that has limited applications access. I use multi-step automation workflows in my tasks, which increases productivity and efficiency. The features such as if-else conditions allow for different branches in automation, making the automation more productive. I utilized conditional logic, text parsing, and formatting. My experience with these advanced features has been excellent. For instance, I once pushed data from Zapier to GoHighLevel while checking the date, and based on that date, I created automation in GoHighLevel that involved various branches, effectively creating a loop. Remote access to Zapier's automated workflows and cloud integration is beneficial. I use cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox within Zapier. The remote capabilities are advantageous, allowing us to provide services from Pakistan for businesses based in the USA, reducing company expenses when hiring employees from the USA. The ability to work remotely globally through Zapier is a significant opportunity.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"Dify has positively impacted the organization because accuracy has been improved, and the time and complexity in flows that were manual are now automated, from HR automation to ERP level transactions, including subscription management in the SaaS application, monitoring, and analytics."
"Using Dify has positively impacted our organization because we were able to cut down on some development time and do a lot of testing in a very small time period."
"Using Dify has positively impacted our organization because we were able to cut down on some development time and do a lot of testing in a very small time period."
"Zapier has allowed our company to focus on important goals and run smoothly, rather than spend our time getting bogged down in mundane, busy work."
"Zapier is user-friendly and most information is available within the page for specific automation."
"Zapier luckily has a wide range of integrations, I would say."
"Requeue is a time saver."
"On a personal level, I used Zapier to automate otherwise tedious and manual tasks."
"There are a few valuable features, like the stability that it comes with and also the number of features that it offers. I've used other services like Pabbly, but they don't offer similar numbers of applications that Zapier has or allows to integrate with – it's maximum."
"Zapier is a really good tool for connecting multiple different platforms and data sources. For example, with Quickbase, I can easily integrate data from other sources like AWS or task-tracking platforms such as ClickUp or Asana."
"The product's most valuable feature is automation."

Cons

"The only improvement would be if Dify provided an SMTP server that could be connected to automate Dify workflow management, as that would be a great option."
"One of the main concerns that we had is that it might not be very scalable because we are hosting it in a self-hosted environment, and we have to configure the architecture and everything."
"One of the main concerns that we had is that it might not be very scalable because we are hosting it in a self-hosted environment, and we have to configure the architecture and everything."
"The technical support is low."
"The pricing of the solution is quite expensive."
"We did have stability issues, at one point every week. This was 3 years ago."
"Zapier is user-friendly, but when we have an application version that we want to connect with Zapier, sometimes it does not support us."
"I think the history of "zaps" could be improved."
"System-to-system is fine, but when it comes to system-to-user, where Zapier is helping to communicate to a user, that's a one-way communication. If that user has to perform some action on that notification, the action isn't handled by Zapier. So there's no way to orchestrate that and it's very cumbersome."
"The user interface for Zapier could be improved."
"Some colleagues don’t find the chat/email channels that intuitive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Per task, there is a monthly plan involving 15 euros...Also, in different forms, they just give you the ability to use different features. They charge 18.58 euros for the first standard plan, which includes 750 tasks. So, it is about 25 cents per task."
"There is a free plan that is, of course, limited. However, it allows you to understand and check true scenarios for a while."
"The product is reasonably priced."
"It's very straightforward licensing. There's only one cost you have to pay, and if you want a relevant pricing plan, I think you have two or three different models or packages which include the number of notifications or Zaps, as they call it, that you can program."
"Zapier's price is good."
"It's very affordable."
"The price of Zapier is approximately $75 monthly."
"The least expensive plan is $24 a month, and you can go all the way to $800 a month if you're a huge company using many tasks."
