Have supported critical environments despite room for improvement in legacy backup options
It is very efficient in cyber resilience. Deduplication, automation, and everything is very efficient. It is multi-cloud enabled and has broad protections. The software delivers flexible and efficient backup and recovery options through its cyber resiliency features. Dell PowerProtect Manager provides insights in managing backup processes. Its encryption mechanisms are very efficient, helping to secure sensitive data. Its integration with Dell EMC Data Domain is very good. It is easy to integrate with Data Domain. Consistent high ratings reflect user satisfaction and reliability
The effective features are file system backup and bare metal recovery. I find it effective because the recovery time when the system goes down is approximately 10 hours, so you can recover the system, and the recovery procedure is quite straightforward. The solution is on-premises. Deduplication is handled by their own product called Corestore, which is a software-based deduplication engine. The deduplication ratio is quite good, and the backup window reduces because of it. To use Quest NetVault Plus backup, my advice is that the product is quite simple; there's no need to access or log in to the backup server, just log in from any system in the same network, and the configuration part is also quite simple. I rate Quest NetVault Plus a nine out of ten.
