Efficient threat detection and seamless deployment improve overall security
The single panel console of CrowdStrike Falcon is very user-friendly, which is what we are looking for. Having multiple administrators between various offices with this single console gives us the ability to see all offices, branch offices, and partners, making it very useful to detect machines, identify machines, and check security risks. Everything in the single console is very useful. CrowdStrike Falcon has positively impacted our organization in terms of efficiency because it's very lightweight, easy to deploy, easy to manage, and works very efficiently. It quickly detects issues and doesn't have a signature-based system, so it works fast and takes immediate action.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It's very easy to set up."
"The endpoint and server management are the most valuable features of CrowdStrike Falcon."
"The features we showcase to potential customers are prevention, malware protection, zero-day protection, and application scripting, and vulnerability assessment is another valuable feature."
"The stability is good; we haven't experienced any glitches or bugs."
"The most valuable aspects of CrowdStrike Falcon for me are its device observability, identification, and software and OS recognition."
"The solution is very scalable; our proof of concept was a few devices and now at full scale we have 50,000 devices, and because it's a cloud console, if you do the implementation right and the sensor is put on in an automated process, it doesn't matter how many computers you have, it just runs."
"Everything we've done with CrowdStrike is due to Arctic Wolf. We don't even need to get alerts from CrowdStrike anymore. It'll send those to Arctic Wolf, and then Arctic Wolf analyzes those and let us know if there's a major issue."
"The most beneficial features of CrowdStrike Falcon are that it is easy to install, easy to manage, lightweight, and it can stop breaches."
"The customer support is very good."
"The most valuable feature of this product is innovation, where the research and upgrading of technology never ends."
"The most valuable features of IBM Watson for Cyber Security are ease of use and out-of-the-box reports and compliance policies. Additionally, if there are aspects that are missing IBM add them in the next release."
"IBM Watson for Cyber Security is very stable."
"From what I have seen so far, this is an excellent product."

Cons

"CrowdStrike Falcon needs to improve their host management system."
"For CrowdStrike to work, all the machines need to have an internet connection. This makes it challenging to assist customers without an internet connection. We would like to have a mechanism or relay to make this possible."
"The price of CrowdStrike Falcon is expensive."
"I would like a centralized deployment where I could roll out or push it to all endpoints."
"Any kind of integration that you want to do, such as using the API to connect to a SIEM, is complex and it will be expensive to do."
"I would also like to see the endpoint firewall component produce some level of logging and feedback."
"One area for improvement in CrowdStrike Falcon could be the user interface and reports; it requires some improvements to be easily handled."
"CrowdStrike Falcon sometimes wrongly flags things as malicious. Let's say a user is active on Chrome only. Sometimes, our cross-segmenting will fetch from the backend data and show that it is malicious because of memory or CPU utilization."
"They need to continue to build the AI capabilities."
"The dashboard could improve in IBM Watson for Cyber Security."
"In the future, I would like to see threat intelligence included."
"This is an expensive product, so making it more cost-effective would be an improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"This solution offers annual subscriptions. The pricing for this solution could be reduced."
"The pricing will depend upon your volume of usage."
"Our licensing fees were between $50,000 and $60,000 per year, which was pretty expensive for a small business."
"The price is high in comparison to similar brands."
"The price of CrowdStrike Falcon is reasonable."
"CrowdStrike Falcon's price is good."
"With respect to pricing, my suggestion to others is to evaluate the environment and purchase what you need."
"CrowdStrike is a reasonably priced tool."
"The price of this solution should be lower, although I understand why IBM charges a premium price."
"IBM Watson for Cyber Security is very simple to license and is priced well."
