Provides effective workflow management and catalog management
Around three to four engineers are needed for the solution's deployment and maintenance. The solution's e-commerce integration feature has impacted our marketing efforts and catalog management. CoreMedia is stable and strong in terms of editorial things. The solution has helped our organization manage translations for different languages. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Gives me easy access, connection and compatibility with all of the Oracle products
WebCenter content access has a lot of options and flexibility. At this time, I only see one problem: in the sub-content and channels surrounding Windows 10. It only functions with Windows 7 and Windows 8. All of the operating systems in my company are up-to-date and we are using Windows 10. For whatever reason, you can't use the Oracle content on these platforms at all. This lapse is very bad for my company because I can't change the version of Word and downgrade. Maybe it is just a technical problem. But it is a lot of my problem with this solution currently.

Collaborative work benefits while user-friendliness challenges persist
The most valuable feature of SharePoint is its user interface, which is very easy to use. I do not have to be very technical to use it. Its rights management capabilities and ability to restrict access to certain people are also very useful. Furthermore, I can access SharePoint from any device, whether it is a phone or laptop, which is very convenient.

"The WebCenter Content is its most valuable feature. After we update a document in WebCenter Content, it can be update automatically in our intranet."
"You can move workloads in between sub-servers so that you don't overload a portion of the server."
"WebCenter's interface is very user-friendly."
"It's a very scalable solution and the performance is pretty good. The scalability, in my opinion, is the biggest advantage."
"We can arrange all our documents on one platform and see the document's changes and edits."
"Combined reports and data with timeline tracking."
"The most valuable features of SharePoint Online are content management, document management, and approval processes. Additionally, there are a number of features that provide integration with multiple Office services and external services."
"Its configuration management ability is critical for document-based systems."
"The stability of SharePoint is high."
"The workflow feature is valuable because it enables us to cascade responsibilities."
"SharePoint has made things easier with the increased functionality for building the portals, microsites, and total integration with Microsoft categories."
"Sharing information is very easy in SharePoint. We use multiple types of documents, like online Excel tools and online content editing, especially for group editing. This allows us to collaborate, even in distributed teams. Despite being geographically spread out, everyone can access the same files online, edit them, and see changes. We also use SharePoint to track all these changes, making our teamwork more collaborative overall. The tool fastens information sharing and collaboration."

Cons

"It is difficult to scale the solution with respect to the costs and infrastructure."
"I would like them to add more Web 2.0 features."
"Does not seem to be totally compatible with Windows 10 as of our current version."
"The speed of the backup should be enhanced."
"WebCenter requires a lot of design effort to upload content to our regular system."
"The solution should be offered in Persian. Right now, our version is in English, and there's a bit of a language barrier between the users and the product."
"This solution needs to support translation into the Arabic language."
"There are many document management systems that offer pretty much the same functionalities but at a lower price. The product as such is pretty good. However, the pricing is not comparable. They need to adjust their pricing to be more competitive on the market."
"Its functions need more stability."
"SharePoint is not always intuitive to use and can be overwhelming for non-tech-savvy users."
"It is too heavy. MS should not have paid foreign coders dollars per each row of code. They wasted the stability and reliability in the end."
"Allow more functionalities for the on-premise version. Do not force the move of content to a non-private cloud."
"Needs improvement on the user interface."
"SharePoint’s scalability could be improved."
"The search functionality could be improved, especially when dealing with 'lift' lists, where there are performance issues."
"The integration with Outlook could be improved."
"SharePoint sometimes cannot handle the amount of co-editing that we do."
