SaaS platform used by developers to store and conveniently search for logs
If a company has the budget and the log service is critical for them, I would say use Coralogix. It is a very good service for that. I would rate Coralogix an eight out of ten. It is an excellent service for storing logs for a long time. The capacity is unlimited for unindexed logs. The cost model is also very efficient because you pay for the ingested data per month. This can be compared to a solution like New Relic where you have to pay it upfront and cannot limit the data ingestion. Coralogix provides an easy way to search for logs and to visualize them. This a great feature because developers are constantly looking for or browsing logs.

Effective with good log analytics but needs better rule correlation
The correlation rules and log mapping are not as mature compared to other SIM tools like Splunk. Sometimes logs will not fetch, and there are issues if the log volume exceeds a threshold. Not every tool is integrated with Sumo Logic. The response time for their support could be better, and it is not very user-friendly.

"Coralogix scales well, and I will rate it nine out of ten."
"The best feature of this solution allows us to correlate logs, metrics and traces."
"The log monitoring is good, and the dashboards that we create are beneficial."
"The solution is easy to use and to start with."
"The Log Analytics platform is the most effective. If we cannot find the data in other tools, like email security or NDR, we can fetch those logs in the Log Analytics platform of Sumo Logic."
"Sumo Logic Security offers a single dashboard and customization, which are the most valuable features."
"Scalability has been good for our needs. We haven't run into any scaling issues in regards to size so far."
"We have used it many times to find a root cause of a live issue, then fix the problem in the applications."
"For many of our services, we use Sumo Logic to track errors and send notifications to our Slack channel, if there are issues. Then, we have our support people monitoring this, and they can react quickly."
"It helps a lot because we can troubleshoot issues pretty easily."
"It provides easy visibility. I also like the shareable queries because we share a lot across groups."
"We can integrate threat intelligence solutions into the product."

Cons

"We want it to work at what it is expected to work at and not really based on the updated configuration which one developer has decided to change."
"Coralogix should have some AI capabilities to auto-detect anomalies and provide suggestions."
"It would be helpful if Coralogix could integrate the main modules that any organization requires into a single subscription."
"The features we were missing in the past were related to the way we see our metrics and aggregate our data."
"The customizable dashboards haven't really helped with my company's efficiency at all, and I think there's room for improvement."
"The documentation of the tool could be improved"
"From my experience, Coralogix has horrible Terraform providers."

"Sumo Logic needs to make sure integrating solutions are seamless."

"I don't recommend this product."
"In terms of improvement, feedback indicates there is a need for a local data center in my country. This is crucial to sell to the government and financial sectors as they require data retention within each country."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The platform has a reasonable cost. I rate the pricing a three out of ten."
"Currently, we are at a very minimal cost, which is around $400 per month since we have reduced our usage. Initially, we were at $900 per month."
"We are paying roughly $5,000 a month."
"The cost of the solution is per volume of data ingested."
"The AWS Marketplace pricing is fairly reasonable for what it does. I wouldn't call it expensive, but I wouldn't call it cheap. It is pretty good."
"Purchasing Sumo Logic through the AWS Marketplace was a simple step."
"Pricing has been cheaper than some of the competing tools, like Splunk."
"The product is costly."
"The AWS Marketplace pricing is borderline. Every annual renewal, we always contemplate if we are getting what we think we could out of it or could we do it cheaper with some other product."
"We chose to go through the AWS Marketplace because it makes it a lot easier when we bill our customers. Rather than having to get multiple different sources of information then correlate a monthly bill for our customers, it is just included in the AWS usage charges."
"The price scaling comes in a bit expensive."
"Storing logs in Sumo Logic Security is charged GB-wise, which is a little higher than other products."
