Enables management of multiple operating systems with a single license
The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Secure data transfers and reliable remote connectivity have strengthened infrastructure
Check Point Remote Access VPN helps me secure and protect my data. If a remote user's device has a vulnerability, the VPN helps. It is very reliable and cost-effective. It keeps my data protected so no one can breach it. There is no interception between the two channels, from the user to the data center, when the VPN tunnel is established with Check Point. Check Point also has a high rate of threat prevention, so I really trust it in this case. I have noticed that my data is now more secure and reliable when accessed from a remote location. This is an issue that it has resolved for my data center.

Good remote services feature and easy to setup
With LogMeIn Pro, we could connect up to 10 computers, and having an option for something in between would be good. Like, we went from 10 to the next level, which was around 50 or so. If there was a tier, perhaps around 20, that I would have probably purchased, and it would have been a better fit for what I needed.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I would rate Microsoft Intune a nine out of ten."
"Its direct integration with all the other products that we have from Microsoft is valuable. We're using the E5 license, and we have a whole wealth of different products available. It just makes it easier to have everything from one provider."
"One valuable feature of Microsoft Intune is the enrollment process, which is user-based, making it easier to manage compared to AirWatch."
"It has a useful device management feature."
"The key benefit of Intune is its integration with the Microsoft ecosystem."
"Previously, SCCM was used as an on-premise solution for clients, but now they are moving to Microsoft Intune as a cloud solution with better security and functions."
"It is a helpful tool to manage BYOD policies."
"The solution is stable."
"Technical support has been excellent."
"It is easy to install the Endpoint Remote Access VPN client to different platforms."
"The solution offers high scalability as far as adding more users."
"The solution has been solid for me for over five years."
"It keeps us safe when browsing the internet and when sharing confidential information with our colleagues."
"It operates effectively, particularly during challenges like adversities or infrastructure issues."
"After deploying Check Point Remote Access VPN solution, I can say that our productivity has maximized; users are working from home and even working 24/7, and if they want, they can access our resources at any time, providing flexibility to work from anywhere."
"The most important feature of Check Point Remote Access VPN is the multiple factor authentication."
"Being able to remote access my computer means I can work at night from my house."
"User interface."
"I would tell others who are looking into this solution that I feel that it's a secure solution. I never had any issues with its security element. I think that it's very simple to use. I think it is user-friendly, and you can work between computers pretty well on it."
"This is a very reliable product and I've never had it crash."
"I can connect to them remotely and do all the functions I would have to do by manually driving to them, so it does make things a lot easier."
"I can copy information and put it into a presentation that I may be putting together at another location."
"Technical support was able to address everything that I asked in a timely, responsible, satisfactory manner."
"If I could give it an 11 out of 10 I would, but I definitely give it a 10. It saves me time, it saves me headaches, it saves me a lot of problems, and I'm able to fix things quickly and move on. I can get in and out of the computer without anyone really even knowing that I fixed something."

Cons

"From my level of analysis, the feature I would prefer to see added to Microsoft Intune is extensive support. Anything that helps to diagnose the problem and solve it would be useful."
"Microsoft Intune's app deployment presents challenges for non-MSI and non-store apps, particularly EXEs, requiring the use of a Win32 wrapper tool and adding overhead to the process."
"When somebody has a customized application or their own company's application, we cannot deploy that application."
"We faced issues with macOS support. The product should have better inventory and asset management."
"Manually syncing devices to enforce policies is cumbersome."
"No option to do end-to-en macOS management. Slow implementation of policies."
"The solution does require maintenance, and it is complex to maintain, especially regarding updates, patching, and releases."
"Intune's server management could be better. If it could incorporate more features from System Center into Intune's Configuration Manager, it would be beneficial."
"Everything functions perfectly with Check Point Remote Access VPN based on my knowledge, but the KB documents for configuration are limited and could be improved."
"The maximum it is giving us is only 5 licenses and if you need more, they must be purchased separately."
"There are some issues with the Check Point VPN, such as its complexity compared to other VPN clients."
"Compliance Check on Check Point should be improved by having more configurable conditions to support multi-platforms and adding more granularity."
"Without a doubt and with the new trends in technology, Check Point should already have a blade with a 2MFA solution and not through some other vendor."
"I would like the support to be faster."
"The configuration of Check Point Remote Access VPN could be simplified so that there will be no complex steps to configure it and maintain it."
"It's difficult to configure on Linux workstations as Check Point Remote VPN clients support only Windows and Mac devices."
"The user interface needs improvement. Mostly, it's pretty intuitive for what I need to do, but the extra elements to it seem very complex, so I don't really try to even use those. For example, document sharing, file stuff. I can do the log-in part, but the additional features are kind of complex."
"Everything has to be done over the web, via email, or something like that. You can't talk to a human being. That bothers me a lot."
"Remote Access for external and internal customers."
"At certain times of the day, during the "rush hour," it's very slow. I don't know if it's the latency of the internet or the amount of people on it in the afternoon at 4:00, 5:00pm. Getting data transferred takes a longer time than other times of the day."
"It would be helpful if there were more things that you could do outside of having to log into the machine, such as being able to raise a command line and reboot the computer if, for whatever reason, it doesn't want to let me in."
"The only issue is that they could have a tier between 10 seats and 50."
"It's never cheap enough. If we got it for free, that would be perfect. But I know it's not and won't be free. It's always going to be too expensive for me because we're a small company."
"Unfortunately, LogMeIn is a long ways from being perfect. It has a lot of really great features, though they don't always work well."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We use Defender ATP and E5 licenses."
"The cost of the license and the features are justified for myself as a technical person."
"I liked the tool's pricing until P2 came into effect. I am unsure about the current value versus the cost of the new licensing model."
"We are partners, so we receive some discount. However, from the customer's perspective, Microsoft Intune's pricing is competitive with non-Microsoft technology, and the price is good compared to other market competitors."
"Microsoft Intune's costliness stems from licensing fees and the overhead associated with its management, user experience, and device remediation."
"Intune's pricing is competitive. For example, the license of Blackberry's Enterprise Mobility Suite was costly, but Intune is affordable. It is included as an additional feature when you buy security enhancements for your organization. For example, let's say I have fifty users in my organization and all of them are using Microsoft cloud services, like Teams, Office 365, and OneDrive."
"It's a bit expensive from a licensing perspective, especially as we look to have organizations with tenants across the globe."
"The product is offered as part of a Microsoft standard bundle. The pricing can be competitive to Airwatch, and Maas360."
"The solution is pretty expensive. The rating is an eight."
"Regarding pricing, as a global customer, we get a big discount. For us, it's a good return on investment. We need to pay for additional features we want to enable. It seems cheaper than other vendors, but I can't say what it would cost an average customer."
"Organizations that already have the Check Point NGFW need to purchase an additional license to have access to the VPN functionality."
"My company makes yearly payments only towards the licensing costs attached to Check Point Remote Access VPN, as there are no extra costs attached to the product."
"The price of this product is good."
"I give the price of the solution a five out of ten."
"The product is expensive. I rate its pricing a ten out of ten. For the cost of one product, we could purchase two or three Fortinet solutions with the same amount of money."
"There is a license required for this solution."
"If you subscribe the package of 100 Agents, but install 5, you are still paying for the 100 agent package."
"The price point has gone up significantly. We used to have a lot of other customers. I used to sell it to other customer sites. But they've moved to TeamViewer, SiteSecure, and several others. There are four or five others that they went to because they're being more competitive on their pricing."
"Pricing is what I'm upset with. Now, that they bought everybody up, the price doubled."
"It is pricey. When they renew me, they always boost it up, I call them and they cut it back a little bit."
"I think it's competitively priced. I haven't priced it out since we started with it, but the yearly subscription fee is worth it. It's not outrageous, and I believe that it's worth it for our company to pay the fees for the use of the product."
"I have a tiered pricing. If I wanted to subscribe for three years, I will get a discount for that."
"It is very good."
"It is expensive, but in the long run we still come out ahead, because it saves us so much labor and downtime driving from one location to the other. In the end it's well worth the expense."
