Implementing Check Point Application Control has positively impacted my organization by restricting users from accessing unnecessary applications that may carry vulnerabilities and could potentially expose our network. This has led to reduced bandwidth utilization on the internet and LAN, ultimately lowering costs related to our ISP. Thus, implementing this solution has proven very helpful for my customers. Regarding specific metrics since implementing Check Point Application Control, I can say that prior to deployment, bandwidth utilization was around 50-60 Mbps. After implementation, this is reduced to about 50% because no one is using unnecessary applications that are blocked by the application filter. This reduction has improved network availability and speed, which are the primary changes I have observed since implementing the application filter.
