We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It is really easy and there are no complicated graphics or icons. It is simple and has an intuitive design. It's user-friendly over anything else I have used.""The main advantage is the ability to host large meetings with up to 500 participants. The sound quality is also better on BlueJeans. I find it pretty intuitive and user-friendly.""It is available in all flavors. You can use it in the browser, and you can use it on an Android phone for which a BlueJeans app is available. I use an Android phone, so I only know about Android. So, you can join a meeting from the application installed on your phone or from the mobile browser, or you can use it from a laptop or a PC.""The quality of both audio and video is good."

"Pricing is reasonable. It's not expensive. The pricing is one of the great selling points for the product.""The key advantage of GoToMeeting is the ability to use it without installing anything.""Ease of setup and login by attendees. Facilitates sharing visually, and not just via audio.""Reduced the need for physically commuting between offices.""Screenshare is the most valuable feature as well as the number of meeting participants possible in a meeting. It also has good quality.""There is no lagging and the meeting interaction is seamless.""We like that this solution allows us to assign separate numbers to people without having to have a physical telephone system in place.""I like GoToMeeting because it is lighter than other solutions, such as Webex."

Cons
"BlueJeans doesn't allow as much customization of your background in a video call, so that could be improved.""I haven't had any big challenges. The annotation feature should be improved. So if I need to mark something or point something out, it's there, but it's not that user friendly. Other than that it's fine. In terms of collaboration, I think there could be some improvement.""Its cost is very high. If you sell it in India, which is a price-conscious market, the prices should be as per the market competition. You cannot charge the rates that are applicable in the US. They should tailor it to the local market. It should be in line with what the competition is offering.""Screen sharing is available but there is no feature for remote access, to take control of another machine."

"Using GoToMeeting in a meeting-sized conference room is kind of a letdown. The camera is supposed to track the speaker and focus on that person so that they can be on the screen. That feature rarely worked. We tested it thoroughly, so maybe it was an issue with the size of the conference room. It may not be suitable for large conference rooms.""The enrolment for a non-IT user should be easier. It should be simplified for non-IT users.""I didn't like the fact that they tried to make their new version look like Zoom.""The sound quality is good but the video quality needs improvement.""The solution could always be more secure.""Sometimes we'll run into issues where firewall rules aren't set correctly and won't work.""We would like some improvement in the speed of initiating this solution, as it is currently fairly slow.""The solution could scale a bit easier if you need to add more people to meetings."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I once tried buying it for myself, but it was very costly. It is quite expensive as compared to other solutions. With BlueJeans, there are carrier charges if you call the toll-free number. The customer doesn't pay for the call, but the buyer or the subscriber of BlueJeans has to pay for it. That is where BlueJeans becomes very costly, and that is where Google, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom are very helpful because you don't have to pay these charges."

  • "Negotiate for discounts."
  • "It is a little expensive although now, with the competition from Zoom and other products, they have lowered their prices and it is better."
  • "GoToMeeting is a little bit expensive compared to other products."
