Key features are roaming, application control and the firewall
We are partners of Aruba as well as sellers and customers. My job in the company is IP network engineer.  The roaming is a feature that works very well. In addition, the application control and firewall features are very good. These are all important features and make the product a valuable one.…

Advanced analytics have transformed our threat detection and streamlined incident investigations
I would appreciate seeing additional dashboards in Exabeam Fusion SIEM or perhaps more options or the ability to customize them further. While we can customize them currently, there may be additional options available. I value the outcomes navigator because it matches the log piece to the use cases, which is helpful. The correlation rules are excellent. I am interested in whether there are additional threat intelligence feeds available that we could use, whether we can integrate our own, or if we could ingest different ones.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The roaming is a feature that works very well, and the application control and firewall features are very good, making the product a valuable one."
"Roaming feature, application control and firewall features."
"I haven't heard of any issues with stability."
"The most valuable feature is the end-user monitoring, and if there is any abnormal behavior on the machine, the administrator will be alerted."
"The Exabeam SIEM has a user friendly UI interface."
"The ThreatHunter in Advanced Analytics is the most valuable. It helps analyze compromised assets and provides analysis for any entity within my client's environment."
"The advanced analytics has a really great overview of user behavior."
"I have customers that like the EUBA functionality of it; the solution has the ability to build a session, basically, pulling a lot of information together, for example, everything a user does in a specific timeframe, which is quite helpful."
"The most valuable feature of Exabeam Fusion SIEM is the easy-to-use user interface."
"Exabeam's UEBA displays the type of description that it could show in a console regarding one particular user, the rating that it shows, and how vulnerable the user is, which is very good."
"Timeline based analysis; good platform support"
"The solution's initial setup process is easy."

Cons

"Technical support is unfortunately a little slow."
"The dashboard could be simplified. You don't have a clear cut view and you have to dive deep into the options to gain some understanding."
"The packet analyzer needs improvement."
"I would like to see improvements made to the dashboard, where you can get the information with a simple click."
"One area that needs improvement is interacting with Exabeam's API. There was a headache regarding the API; the documentation wasn't clear, and the syntax wasn't very precise."
"One area for the solution's improvement is integration capabilities, particularly out-of-the-box integration which sometimes requires additional professional services."
"Adding to the number of certifications that they have, for example, ISO 27001, would be helpful. Currently, they only have SOC 2."
"We use the on-prem Exabeam product and face limitations using the web UI and administration of custom models and rules."
"I would say the pricing for Exabeam Fusion SIEM is not cost prohibitive, but it was a little more than I initially thought."
"The initial setup of Exabeam Fusion SIEM is complex because it needs to integrate with the SIEM solution, but after this is complete it is straightforward."
"Exabeam's integration capabilities are not good, as Exabeam has a very limited number of integrations and no out-of-box integration, which is an area where Exabeam should improve."
"Exabeam's reporting dashboard could have included a filtering option to filter by the most recent detection."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The license is based on the number of users. The evaluation license is free, you can download it from the website and try it out first."
"The platform is not extremely expensive compared to its direct competitors; I would rate its pricing around six out of ten."
"There is an annual license required to use Exabeam Fusion SIEM. The price of the solution should be reduced."
"Exabeam Fusion SIEM's pricing is reasonable."
"The solution is expensive."
"They have a great model for pricing that can be based either on user count or gigabits per day."
"Exabeam is not a cheap solution."
