Pros
"The dashboard is the most valuable feature."

"Its most valuable feature is the Zachman Framework.""Sparx has got a range of modeling features, and I am comfortable with all its offering. I've used a lot of tools over the phone. I found EA Spark, probably the most feature rich product all in all compared to other products. The solution is very cost-effective and that is its best feature. It's a very good delivery architecture tool, which also has enterprise architecture capabilities, and it's got full life cycle processes and software development. So for me, it's a pretty comprehensive tool""Modeling is a part of my work, and it has a lot of standard modeling languages. It is quite wide, and a lot is possible in it. We are not programming it ourselves, but if you are into programming and developing software yourself, you can go further and do a lot with Sparx. You can work from the framework and go into the details. With this solution, you get a lot of value at a low cost. It is also quite intuitive in terms of use. I like the use of it.""Ability to keep inventory of reusable blocks, and use in different diagrams with views of various templates.""The solution is easy to use, supports SysML and UML, and is able to connect to MATLAB. This is very important for us.""For the most part, we find that it is remarkable how inexpensive it is.""Simplified our task at maintaining architecture information and traceability with requirements.""Scalability is not a problem. You can always increase the footprint of what the thing can do because it's so powerful."

Cons
"The user-experience, enhanced performance, and in-hand governance can be improved."

More Alfabet IT Planning & Portfolio Management Cons →

"This solution has some limitations from a business perspective.""The documentation could be better. Where I work, we speak French and we don't speak English, so we don't have anything in French. It's perfect in English, but we need something in French.""The dashboard and connectivity could be improved.""From a practical point of view, we need speed and reliability for creating a model and doing some really meaningful tasks such as application landscape, refactoring, etc. These are two primary criteria. Sometimes, when you import something, it creates the object duplicates, or it allows you to do something that you're not supposed to do. For example, validation is missing. This could be frustrating because when you work at a high speed, you need to come back and start fixing things that the tool allowed you to go with, which is not quite good. So, there should probably be some internal mechanisms to advise you about what you're doing and what is probably not the best idea.""Inconsistent UI elements must be tidied up with the toolbox gaps removed.""What should be improved are the integration capabilities of the solution with Bizagi.""In a future release, they should improve portfolio planning.""Weak in regards to data modelling. No logical or physical modelling or migration from conceptual to physical."
