Offers good integration capabilities and easy to learn and good stability
Nintex is still at the starting point of integrating with AI. It has integrated with a very small piece of artificial intelligence., like only integrated with the Google Cloud. There is a benefit, like a no-code and low-code solution. But, again, if you are a developer, especially if you are a hardcore developer, you are using your code knowledge, its skills, and all. And, suddenly, you are moving into the low-code solution, and then you will feel, like, so many things you can't achieve with the low-code solution. And in that case, you are looking for some custom development. And it's a little bit difficult in the Nintex area. Because they are totally dependent on the low-code solution, and you are looking at where you can implement your custom things. However, you can do that thing, but that will be a difficult task. Also, the outcome, whatever you are trying to get from such kind of custom development, will be a little bit difficult. Let's suppose, like, if you are working with a medium level of data or a small level of data that will be easier to handle with the Nintex. However, the bulk data on a high level of data would be difficult. I have been working with Nintex for the past three years. I've been able to create some really good products in different domains, including banking and insurance. Everything seems achievable, but there are a few things I'm missing. First, debugging can be a bit difficult in Nintex. You can't debug forms and workflows easily. This is something that could be improved in future releases. It requires some R&D. Second, I would like to see more integration with AI. There is some custom integration available through the gateway, but it would be great to have more AI-related features built into the platform.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"AgilePoint's most valuable feature is process management."
"AgilePoint has improved our organization by making form implementation easier and to plan for future growth."
"The initial setup of AgilePoint was very easy."
"The solution's workflows are its most useful feature."
"AgilePoint's automation is excellent in managing different user roles and handling data associated with a particular instance of the workflow."
"I like the design and the integration capacity. It's also easy to use."
"AgilePoint's automation is excellent in managing different user roles and handling data associated with a particular instance of the workflow."
"K2 is reasonably priced."
"The solution has helped us to automate our business processes, our approval systems, and automation for quickly developing on SharePoint on-prem and SharePoint online."
"The setup is easy."
"The strength of this solution lies in its connectors and the accessibility of an open API. The presence of an open API allows users to create custom connectors if necessary, provided there is access to the source API documentation. Additionally, the platform features a straightforward yet highly effective forms tool. This tool not only seamlessly integrates with the workflow functionality but also facilitates the transmission of information to the document generation tool. This comprehensive integration is particularly noteworthy when compared to alternatives such as Oracle, which tends to rely on more complex and separate logic for similar functionalities. A key strength of Nintex lies in its user-centric approach to help documentation. The materials are designed to be easily understood, avoiding complex terminology. In cases where technical terms are used, they are linked to articles for further clarification. This contrasts with platforms like Microsoft and Oracle, which may employ technical jargon without clear explanations. Nintex further supports its users through a robust online community, fostering collaboration and shared insights. Additionally, Nintex University offers online training across all applications, following a role-based structure. Unlike some other platforms, Nintex's training is thoughtfully broken down into shorter courses, focused on specific roles. This approach ensures that users can efficiently access the information they need without navigating through extensive and potentially irrelevant content, as may be the case with Oracle's training structure."
"It creates workflows to handle business processes. It allows us to route approvals to users without human intervention."
"Provides the ability to automate SharePoint processes (building sites, lists, updating content). You can also automate document and content processes, onboarding and offboarding, and general IT and HR solutions."
"It can scale well."
"It has helped us a lot, especially during the initial phase of a project where most of the things are done on paper."

Cons

"The solution should be able to support Docker. This would help make scalability easier."
"It could be more flexible, but it's already a good solution for the designer."
"While the platform is good and it has a lot of options, I would like to see more alternative features in future versions such as connectors to IDM. Currently, they have only ADFS and Okta."
"Integrations and customizations should be improved in AgilePoint and other low-code solutions."
"Integrations and customizations should be improved in AgilePoint and other low-code solutions."
"They should add more information about functionality."
"Some issues with AgilePoint's design, AI and UX are some of the major problems we deal with when handling our company's business models or processes."
"The solution does not integrate with many platforms."
"The solution needs more RPA and AI features."
"Currently, a notable challenge lies in the alignment of user experiences across the eight or nine applications within the suite. Transitioning between applications can be somewhat cumbersome due to varying user interfaces. However, the provider is actively addressing this concern by consistently rolling out updates every four to five months, aimed at harmonizing and streamlining the interfaces. This ongoing effort is expected to enhance the user experience over time. In terms of functionality and features, the platform stands out, offering flexibility with the option for both on-premises and cloud deployment. This flexibility extends to the RPA tool, providing clients with choices tailored to their preferences. An advantage lies in the shared security and data infrastructure across the toolset, facilitating smooth data transfer between applications. This contrasts with experiences with Oracle, where data transfer may involve complexities such as the need for intermediary file formats like TXL or SCZ."
"We cannot use the same solution on cloud."
"Built-in reporting on-prem is limited and clunky at best."
"While Nintex Workflow has pretty robust troubleshooting abilities, I think that improving the default logging and notifications would be helpful."
"Nintex seems to be very server intensive. It is one of the reasons that we are moving to a different product on the SharePoint 2016 platform."
"The cost of the solution is high and has room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Price-wise, AgilePoint is a cheap tool and a standard application for running analytics in an IT environment."
"I think the price is reasonable."
"I believe the pricing has changed recently. We had purchased one license per server, and it was about $2,000. It was a one-time payment. It's possible that they have recently implemented a new cost structure and now have yearly subscriptions."
"It is more cost-effective than local tools."
"Nintex is around INR 200 per license in India, which is much cheaper. Smaller organizations are always looking for cost-effective solutions, and Nintex provides local solutions with very low pricing."
"Prices for licenses of K2 are high."
"Nintex products are expensive, but valuable. Licensing in on-premise was historically based on a perpetual model, where you’d license per Web front-end. However, they are switching exclusively to a consumption (subscription) model, where you purchase the number of workflows you think you’ll use in your environment, and can scale up from there."
"The annual support costs are expensive."
"Nintex Workflow is more expensive than Microsoft's native products, but it is still considered moderately priced when compared to higher-end products such as K2."
"The product’s price is competitive compared to other vendors."
"It's more suited for enterprise level, not for small or medium-sized businesses (SMBs)."
"The price of this solution is affordable but the problem in Algeria is our community is a bit slower. The new clients might feel the solution is a bit expensive."
