Provides efficient process management features, but it needs more integration capabilities
We use AgilePoint for an idea submission application for our business processes. It allows managers to review and update the approved idea on the dashboard AgilePoint's most valuable feature is process management. We can integrate it with many applications including Microsoft, UiPath, and other…

Allows for seamless integration and sharing of common features
The initial setup is straightforward. There are limited access. If you choose not to use scripts, you can still configure the majority of the settings on the platform. The technical aspect of implementing changes is governed by change management processes. Even simple features require careful consideration of communication, documentation, and governance. Despite the setup being relatively straightforward and typically taking one to two weeks to complete once the desired outcome is identified, the implementation phase can often extend for a month or two due to various factors. I rate the initial setup a nine out of ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy.

"AgilePoint's automation is excellent in managing different user roles and handling data associated with a particular instance of the workflow."
"The initial setup of AgilePoint was very easy."
"AgilePoint has improved our organization by making form implementation easier and to plan for future growth."
"The solution's workflows are its most useful feature."
"The solution is a seamless tool that can integrate with all applications."
"At this point, over and above what ServiceNow actually is, the key is that it's really nothing but a web service. Whether it's a form or anything, the best part is that you can easily leverage anything of ServiceNow for any application anywhere just by calling the REST endpoints and handling the request messages."
"The primary feature we find valuable is data management."
"The initial setup is very straightforward."
"ServiceNow Now Platform has one thing that no other tool offers, which is the dataset, specifically the management of the dataset."
"The level of automation within the platform is great."
"ServiceNow provides immense options for customization and scalability, allowing users to build and modify the platform according to their needs."
"ServiceNow is highly scalable from a customization point of view, allowing for the building of portals, adding and configuring widgets, and designing workflows as preferred."

Cons

"They should add more information about functionality."
"The solution should be able to support Docker. This would help make scalability easier."
"It could be more flexible, but it's already a good solution for the designer."
"Integrations and customizations should be improved in AgilePoint and other low-code solutions."
"Some issues with AgilePoint's design, AI and UX are some of the major problems we deal with when handling our company's business models or processes."
"Integrations and customizations should be improved in AgilePoint and other low-code solutions."
"While the platform is good and it has a lot of options, I would like to see more alternative features in future versions such as connectors to IDM. Currently, they have only ADFS and Okta."
"The number of API calls processed by the tool, specifically when the API calls increase, will cause a lot of load on the platform, and it tends to not work very efficiently."
"From an improvement perspective, the product's complicated initial setup phase can be made a bit easier."
"ServiceNow Now Platform's technical support needs to improve."
"The solution's user interface is very average, and it needs to be more enriched and user-friendly."
"When it comes to integration, it can be complex compared to other tools I'm currently using."
"The price is a bit high and can be a bit of a barrier for some customers."
"The user interface could be modernized and made more attractive for users."
"The Playbooks feature is useful for visualizing steps in a process, however, it lacks support for rollbacks in case of complex customer processes."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Price-wise, AgilePoint is a cheap tool and a standard application for running analytics in an IT environment."
"It is more cost-effective than local tools."
"I believe the pricing has changed recently. We had purchased one license per server, and it was about $2,000. It was a one-time payment. It's possible that they have recently implemented a new cost structure and now have yearly subscriptions."
"I think the price is reasonable."
"There are extra expenses for maintaining the product apart from the licenses."
"In my opinion, it is expensive. However, they do offer favorable licensing for charities, for example."
"Most of the features are included in the licensing cost. However, if we need extra plugins that are not available at the ServiceNow Hub or store, then we have to pay extra for those."
"The solution is expensive, and I rate it a ten for pricing."
"Price-wise, I would describe the product's cost to be more than the average, but it compensates for that with the functionalities that it provides."
"From what I heard, the license for the ServiceNow Now Platform is paid monthly, and on a scale of one to five, I'm rating it a three in terms of pricing, so it's on the cheaper side. I don't know of any additional costs associated with the ServiceNow Now Platform, apart from the standard licensing fees."
"I don't have much exposure to the costs attached to the solution. I rate the product's price a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is the lowest price, and ten is the highest price since it is a costly tool."
"People seem to be buying the tool a lot. I think its licensing is okay."
