Have faced limitations in functionality and dependability while trying to streamline project management workflows
One of the best things about Adobe Workfront is that we can immediately track each project. We can keep track of all tasks with the help of milestones that we can add to a project. We can monitor everything effectively. The utilization and workload balancer allows us to clearly see if a person is over-utilized or if they are not getting utilized to at least 80 or 90%. This enables better tracking and work assignment with improved clarity. We use custom dashboards in Adobe Workfront to see all statuses. The integration capabilities with other software are quite good, with straightforward connectivity. We have HTTP connectors if we need to connect with external systems via APIs. If we have any API endpoint for any external tool, we can connect it with Adobe Workfront using Fusion. Reporting is a major part of Adobe Workfront, making it not just a workflow management tool but also a tool where we can get data and present it to executives through comprehensive reporting.

Good reporting, quick configurations, and helpful support
It's a cloud-based setup, so there's no challenge in getting everything up and running. The downtime should be minimal. I'd rate the process nine out of ten in terms of ease of deployment. There is a three-month implementation exercise that we control. We have five people who were part of the implementation and maintenance process. They are admins and web developers.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Reduced license costs plus reduced overall project timelines."
"The usability of the system has been great, it was by far the easiest product to use based on the products that we reviewed and the adoption with the use of the product has been great in terms of people understanding the system."
"The solution is stable."
"The tool is very user-friendly."
"The best features in Adobe Workfront from my perspective are the project management and automation from the back end, the tool called Workfront Fusion where we can automate processes."
"Easy sharing within our organization of data and information about running projects."
"I love the custom forms - the custom forms have fulfilled every need for data needs within Workfront, and the flexibility to integrate custom form fields into any report, view, filter or grouping has been wonderful"
"I also like Workfront's integration. The solution integrates natively with other systems. It's easy to connect Workfront to any product that has a customer service database, such as a CRM or service ticket management solution."
"The reporting part is very good."

Cons

"The solution's visualization feature could be user-friendly."
"Their agile tools are not as good as they could be, not as good as competitor products."
"I would say that the stability, honestly, has gone down since the Adobe acquisition, and the quality when they roll out their updates."
"Our product and graphic designers are working with various Adobe products, but Workfront has a no-frills interface. It's a useful tool with everything we need, but it could be a little more attractive and present information in a polished way. It's a web interface, so it's accessible, but the appearance could be a little slicker."
"Yes, we experienced brief downtime on a few occasions but it became a rarity."
"The performance needs to be smoother, and there is room for improvement in Data Connect while writing queries and integrating with other analysis tools."
"It's not as robust as SharePoint 2013 with Project Server/Web Apps."
"As with any software, some bugs exist."
"Some of the reports could be automated."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Speaking about pricing, I wouldn't recommend it to a smaller company because I do think the price point is higher than other solutions that can work."
"Adobe Workfront is an expensive solution."
"The pricing of Workfront is completely license based."
"Adobe purchased Workfront in the past year, and they're putting work into developing the platform, so I expect the price to rise. It isn't cheap, but it's reasonable for the value it provides. It isn't Monday.com where you pick a license with a set price, and you've got a project manager."
"We are partners with Adobe, so we get the licensing at a cheaper rate."
"The pricing is a barrier to implementation. It is expensive compared to other competitors. Speaking about licensing, they have a private manager license for $1000, which you can use for administration as well. Then they offer a worker license for $500, and then a reviewer or contributor license which is free."
