There is no negative impact, but to some extent their software side needs improvement because most people are familiar with iDRAC for the Dell product. Their software product is quite different and is new software. You have to take some time to learn their programming and other things such as installation of the media, Windows or office applications, or anything else. It is not complex. It is because it is a new thing and we had to face a little more problem for the installation at first. But now after some time, it has become easy for us because we have been working with Dell and listening about Dell for a long time, about decades. 3Com H3C Switches has occupied our market and has been working now for the last two to three years. 3Com H3C Switches has gained this much reputation and the brand is at its peak. It will be a matter of time and with the passage of time the learning stage will improve.

Regarding Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches, there is nothing technically that needs improvement, but the support and cost are significant concerns. The main issue is that many customers are hesitant to purchase Cisco products because the support costs are very high. When I compare it to HP Aruba switches, for example, the support from HP is almost free. Cisco always charges for support, which is understandable because Cisco has a very large support organization like Cisco TAC behind it. Additionally, upgrades are not free with Cisco. Other vendors offer switch upgrades and firmware upgrades mostly free of charge. These are my main concerns.

"The hardware side is a very big advantage; we use it 24/7 and we haven't had any problems so far with the switches."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the durability."
"Their customer service is instant with a tracking system and follow-ups for human access."
"The user interface is upgraded to the latest GUI technology, allowing configurations like VLAN to be done through the interface rather than the command line, making it more efficient."
"The installation is quite straightforward."
"The reliability of the solution has been the best feature."
"The best feature I use the most is the 2950, which has served my needs excellently."

"Linksys switches are easy to use. You can pull the switch out of the box, plug it in, and it's going to work."
"The scalability is great."
"The initial setup is easy."

"The Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches are really easy to set up and get in place."
"There is no need for my company to pay for additional support."

Cons

"The solution's price could be better."
"In the next release I would really love to see a list option."
"I would like to see more manageability. That's primarily the reason why Linksys switches don't work in the enterprise space; they don't have the management and capabilities of other switches."
"Scalability is an area that can be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"3Com H3C Switches have a competitive cost. I rate the pricing a nine out of ten."

"It is cheap."
"The licensing cost is not bad and is actually very competitive within the product category."
"It's an affordable price for small companies using on-premises networks where cloud services are too expensive for them."
