BeyondTrust is a strong, compliance-driven solution with excellent market recognition (Gartner, Peers, etc.), making it appealing for Bangladeshi enterprises. However, some key improvements could accelerate adoption: Areas for Improvement: Pricing & Local Affordability While the product’s capabilities justify its value, cost remains a barrier for many Bangladeshi organizations. Competitive pricing or regional discounts would make it more accessible. Local Support & Partnerships Currently, lack of local partners or trainers creates delays in support, implementation, and pricing negotiations. Establishing a Bangladesh-based support team or authorized resellers would improve responsiveness and trust. Enhanced Onboarding & Training Offering localized training programs (in Bengali/English) and documentation would help IT teams deploy and manage the solution more efficiently. Recommendations for Next Release: Introduce tiered pricing for emerging markets like Bangladesh. Develop a partner network in Bangladesh for faster service and sales. Add simplified dashboards for easier monitoring by non-technical staff. Final Note: BeyondTrust is already a top-tier PAM solution, but addressing these gaps would solidify its leadership in Bangladesh’s growing cybersecurity market.

Regarding the feedback scenario, it's a tough question as I have thoroughly gone through the entire partner portal and library of BeyondTrust, as well as BeyondTrust University. I have also interacted with support whenever a ticket is raised, ranging from P1 to P3 or P2. Most end users and partners seem happy and content with BeyondTrust. The deployment of the solution is generally easy, flexible, and scalable. However, it can be challenging in certain environments, especially regarding management. Improvements could focus on adding more AI features to automate processes that are currently manual or challenging for end users. In some cases of competition, I have noted specific use cases where the recording of sessions was an endpoint for BeyondTrust, providing an edge for higher management. The ability to view recorded live sessions of specific users is a crucial benefit.

The most important factor is the ability to invoke least privilege, which is required under 27701 and GDPR. We have used the solution to remove users' administrative rights and instead provide on-demand, token-based administrative rights. The latter is an option for a single, temporary increase in privileges for a trusted user for a specific time. We use it in a medical environment for HIPAA compliance or medical compliance in a GDPR case. For example, if you have a clinician who needs access to a specific piece of medical information, or if there is an administrator who needs to have administrator rights to a particular database for a limited period of time, we can give it and then revoke it. That's another reason the tool is useful. Also, the fact that we are able to add events straight from event logs and/or the database is important for crisis management and rapid reaction. This ability helps us meet our SLA requirements. In addition, we can elevate approved applications and actions without broad administrative rights. We can temporarily increase privilege based on tasks. If someone puts in a ticket, we increase their privilege for that ticket. We then watch to see if that ticket has been resolved and then we decrease it. Another feature of the platform is instant risk reduction solutions. We can do a risk metric with it, and we do that as part of our risk evaluation. We can increase and decrease privilege and we can actually show that in the ISO 13485 risk metric. And it provides a single solution for managing endpoint security preferences. It does a good job of that.
