My use case of Honeycode was to build an app with an inventory of our finished products. I also worked on an app for the shipping department which involved auditing trucks, and ensuring that the right material got onto them. We were users of Honeycode and I'm a warehouse manager.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
I like that Honeycode directly integrates with AWS as it reduced the friction in setting up the back end. When I started working with Honeycode, I didn't have the resources to set up a server and go internally within the company so it was helpful to be able to create an account, start coding, and get the job done. The interface functions are great. Everything I needed to do was in one package. It's invaluable for small companies that are starting out and don't have a huge amount of resources.
What needs improvement?
The biggest difficulty for me were some of the UI elements. There weren't great ways to differentiate the app or streamline it. From a business perspective it's not that important but it could have had a more polished feel.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It's generally stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Honeycode is quite scalable. In terms of something that's available without requiring an SQL database or having a dedicated server - I don't think you can get much better.
How are customer service and support?
I used the forums to get answers to any questions.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was straightforward.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
This is an extremely reasonably priced solution.
What other advice do I have?
I rate this solution eight out of 10.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
