What is our primary use case?



The primary use case of Altair Monarch was data extraction. I used it to process a lot of documents and data from Notepad and PDFs, converting those into structured data for basic analysis and reporting. It facilitated data preparation and data extraction effectively.

What is most valuable?



Altair Monarch is valuable because it allows a one-time setup for data extraction, making the process extremely easy with just a few clicks to get the output. It is foolproof and ensures perfect extraction as long as the models and templates remain standard, providing a seamless and error-free experience.

What needs improvement?



Altair Monarch is pretty seamless and does not need further improvements. It comprises two versions: Classic and Data Prep, with the latter offering a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface.

For how long have I used the solution?



I used Altair Monarch for a short period.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?



The setup was straightforward, and I could easily set it up.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?



The solution is stable with no problems.

The support team is diligent, following up thoroughly and setting up calls promptly when a ticket is raised. It is beneficial for any assistance needed. The overall rating for Altair Monarch is ten out of ten.

In 10 minutes, I can do work that would take me two or three hours in another solution.

What is our primary use case?



We use Monarch for account reconciliation. We have several accounts from last year that carry over into this year, so we do reconciliation to see if there are any outliers compared to last year and if the system is automatically picking up for renewals. Monarch is used for minor reconciliation work on our accounts and opportunities in Salesforce. 


How has it helped my organization?



Monarch saves lots of time. In 10 minutes, I can do work that would take me two or three hours in Excel or another solution.

Monarch lets you quickly extract in your preferred format.

I have been using Monarch for five months.

I rate Altair Monarch nine out of 10 for stability.

I rate Altair Monarch eight out of 10 for scalability. The tool has been around for nearly three, so it has seen different volumes, and it's capable of scaling up. It's pretty stable.
