Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites [EOL] Reviews

I am working with the Trend Micro One solution.

I use Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites, which includes six components, including Cloud App Security, Trend Email Security Advanced, and Worry-Free Business Security Services.

I mainly use it for endpoint security and email security. The product is good, smooth, and there are many things to configure.

We can get in-depth details of the emails going in and out, and we can create rules. It's easy to manage and navigate; the main thing is that it's easy to handle.

The content filtering is good. It's easy to configure the content filtering system and everything. Content filtering is easy to configure and easy to use.

There are a couple of issues we have encountered while using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for the past four or five years. The first is the Business Email Compromise (BEC) issue. Even though we configured the business email compromise option, we still face this issue sometimes where people are getting emails directly with our email ID.

We were not able to get a satisfactory answer from them regarding the BEC issue.

The ransomware protection issue for the old servers or outdated servers and recovery of the data needs improvement in Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites.

The ransomware protection issue for old servers and business email compromise also needs to be upgraded because even though it's configured, we still face this BEC issue. The response time of the support also needs improvement.

We are actively using the solution.

We experienced no deployment issues.

The support sometimes is not up to customer satisfaction. The support team sometimes asks too generic questions and repeats the questions.

Increasing support time would be beneficial.

Support is extremely good, but there is room for improvement.

We were previously using FortiMail. FortiMail is better, but it's more costly compared to Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites. The only reason for switching was the cost; otherwise, FortiGate and FortiMail products are the best in the market.

It's easy to set up and manage.

A third party has set this up for us, but it's easy to set up and manage.

All three components are managed by the central management console.

The price is reasonable.

The tool is effective in terms of email security to stop phishing attacks. It's effective up to 90-95%. I rate Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites an eight out of ten.

EG Industries and Current Research are my major customers who are using Trend Micro. Today, Current Research is looking for a solution, and I am suggesting Xcitium. Another customer is E2E Research, which is currently using Securite because the Trend Micro prices are very higher than other products.

My customers are currently using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites.

The most valuable features of Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites that I found are the antivirus, anti-spamming, anti-malware services that customers are looking for and using, and they are satisfied with that. The features actually work on multiple devices, including Windows and Mac, and URL filtering, as well as the endpoint EDR, endpoint detection and response feature, is very good.

The real-time threat intelligence provided by Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for proactive threat management is comprehensive. In EDR or XDR, it's a comprehensive solution. However, we are mostly facing issues related to pricing in Worry-Free; we often lose cases based on pricing, not on other factors. Many times I pitch the solution to customers, but the OEM supports another partner. So, I am facing that issue frequently.

Regarding machine learning-based threat protection in Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites, customers are not using that, so I am not taking any responses from the customers. If you want, you can drop me a mail, and then I will collect the information from my customers. I don't know about it, actually. I am a salesperson, not technical.

Other than pricing, the areas of Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites that I would like to see improved or enhanced depend on cases. For approximately 1300 to 1200, it varies by case. When it involves 500 customers or 200 customers, it could go up to 900 and 1000 rupees. We win cases often.

I evaluate the effectiveness of URL filtering and email gateway scanning as good. In EDR, URL filtering is blocking YouTube, adult sites, and Facebook. That's working good for us. HTTP and HTTPS services are performing well, but I face issues with Xcitium; those services are not working on the basic product.

Regarding the stability of Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites, I'm not sure about that, but I think it is reliable and easy to use.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites is good to adapt to my customer's needs, as many customers request to use only Trend Micro. Their services are good, and their support is very good, with no issues.

I would rate the technical support from Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites as nine, considering that the OEM and partner account manager do not provide support.

Our primary use case for Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites is to protect our organization and organizational data. We aim to enhance our security by implementing Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites has an inbuilt auto scan facility. It is very good at detection and response, and it includes a web filtering option. This allows us to restrict user access to specific websites directly from the Trend Micro dashboard.

We integrated Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites a couple of months ago.

I rate the stability of the solution nine out of ten.

We did not face any difficulties during the initial setup. However, after installing the application, some system performance issues arose.

The pricing of Trend Micro is a little bit higher compared to Sophos. Overall everything is good.

I would recommend Trend Micro, however, I prefer Sophos for better pricing and solution as it offers an affordable price.

We use Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for End Point protection, all our PC and laptops should be protected against targeted attacks, spear-phishing, advanced malware, zero-day threats, and document exploits.

We are located in a high-risk area for cyberattacks, and this solution helps protect our data. It is actively used to monitor the user activities and generates report on the basis of there activities. 24/7 protection against email threats and real time blocking allowing our users to working worry free.

It's a cloud-based console that provides visibility and control across your entire organization. You can manage the security of all your devices from one web console.

The licensing aspect seems costly, and the license cost increases yearly, which is a concern for us.

Over the last couple of years, we have been using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites.

We have not experienced any downtime with this product, which is critical for us. The stability is quite impressive and supportive.

We found it to be a well-rounded solution, being both price competitive and supportive from a scalability point of view. It was a complete package that met our needs.

I would rate their technical support between seven and eight. The main issue is the time difference, which can cause some delays in getting support.

The solution is useful in small and medium businesses or SMBs. Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites is a great tool that is not as expensive as WatchGuard EPDR. Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites has all the functionalities that can be used with a really simple configuration experience. You don't have a lot of things to tweak or play with the configurations in Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites but might be found in a more advanced version of Trend Micro's product like Trend Micro Apex One.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites is a really good product for computers that are not very powerful, allowing it to act as an agent. The tool offers a great threat detection rate. The tool helps a lot of small businesses, especially if they don't have great security in place, because it also offers virtual patching technology. The product is good, and though it may not apply patches, it helps you prevent vulnerabilities by blocking the network traffic.

The most valuable feature of the solution is the ease of deployment.

The EDR part of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required. With the product's EDR part, it is really hard for users to get going with the investigation part or to deal with the integration of IoAs since such areas are not well done in the tool.

Better analytics and reporting features would be great in the product's future releases.

I have been using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for over a year. My company operates as an MSSP partner of WatchGuard and Trend Micro. I have experience with Trend Micro Worry-Free XDR.

Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

Some of my company's clients use WatchGuard EPDR. I use a lot of technology for my company's clients, which include WatchGuard EPDR or Acronis Advanced Security.

The product's deployment phase was straightforward.

The solution is deployed on the cloud.

My company experiences a return on investment from the use of the product. The product helps deploy 200 endpoints in around two hours, which is pretty good.

The product is available at a very good price point.

I have evaluated WatchGuard EPDR and Acronis Advanced Security against Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites.

The product is deployed in a remote workforce environment. Depending on the requirements of the company's clients, who may have a tool like Active Directory, which is integrated into their network, the deployment of Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites in a remote workforce environment becomes easy. In my company, we usually follow the process of creating a mailing list. I think everyone included in the mailing list can click and install the agent.

The most impactful feature of the product on our company's organizational security stems from the email protection that the tool provides.

Before choosing the product, I recommend others to consider factors like how important technical support is for your organization. Usually, there are no breakdowns in the product. If you don't have a tech-savvy person in your company, it is better to deal with a partner.

I recommend the product to others who plan to use it.

For SMBs, I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.

We use the solution for endpoint protection, malware detection, and detecting unsafe web access.

We pay double the price than what we would pay for a comparable solution. The solution's documentation is not good, and I'm struggling to change global configurations. My employer changed its name, and it was very difficult to change the account information. The support desk is not quite what I expected. Overall, I'm not quite happy with the solution.

The solution's overall usability could be improved. The UI is not very modern, and it's clumsy. I didn't find any instructional videos for the solution.

I have been using Trend Micro Worry-Free Sevices Suits for two years.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Sevices Suits is a stable solution.

I rate the solution an eight out of ten for stability.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Sevices Suits is not a scalable solution for me. Around 55 users are using the solution in our organization.

I couldn't use Active Directory or GPO to auto-deploy. So, I had to deploy the agents manually, which was very uncomfortable.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Sevices Suits did add value to our organization, but it's nothing special. Other similar products can do the same. Many other alternatives are at least as good as the solution and maybe not as expensive.

We pay a yearly licensing fee for the solution, which is too expensive.

Trend Micro Worry-Free Sevices Suits is a cloud-based solution, but you have a local client or a local agent installed on each device.

I would not recommend the solution to other users because of its price. I've discovered similar solutions with similar specifications that only cost about half as much. I can integrate another solution with my remote management and monitoring tool. I've asked my boss not to renew the contract with Trend Micro and to go to a different vendor.

Overall, I rate the solution a six out of ten.

Most use cases involve addressing issues related to occasional device slowdowns and problems with the application controller. We are working with Trend Micro's technical support to resolve these issues. Overall, the product itself functions well. We use it on our cell phones and other services without any significant trouble in our daily operations. 

It is an EDR solution that seamlessly integrates with customers' daily processes. We use the product to protect all devices, including servers, VMs, and smartphones. One notable advantage is that you receive double the number of licenses for free when you purchase licenses for PCs and Services. We utilize both for email protection and cloud app security. The product offers many features at a low cost, making it highly valuable.

The multi-tenancy feature is beneficial for managing different customers, allowing for efficient handling across various tenants. Another unique and significant feature is the cloud app security, which enables comprehensive protection for Office 365 and Gmail tenants, including OneDrive, Google Drive, Teams, Outlook, etc., all connected via API. This simplifies the configuration process as customers only need to sign in, making it very user-friendly. Additionally, the XDR feature enhances collaboration between different security aspects, including ADA and cloud apps.

The log management feature needs to be improved, specifically, the ability to send logs from the console via API. This feature is quite limited and feels outdated. Implementing log management is complicated. For MSPs, it’s difficult because they need to find specific or automated solutions, which can be challenging.

They should have features that protect or consider the ability to connect to cloud services, such as the customer's office tenants. It would also be beneficial to have the ability to control and log activities in Microsoft Active Directory to protect customer directories. 

I have been using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites as a reseller and integrator for two and a half years. We are using the latest version of the solution.

It has been pretty stable. We haven't had much trouble, but occasional issues arise. 

I rate the solution’s stability an eight out of ten.

The scalability is quite good. As mentioned, the product can be easily integrated with other Trend Micro products or their main security suite. You need to change the license or service plan type, and integration happens automatically. Seven or eight customers are using this solution. It suits small and medium-sized businesses, especially those managing up to five hundred devices per customer.

I rate the solution’s scalability an eight out of ten.

The initial setup and configuration are straightforward, and the console itself is not very complicated. We always use the Trend Micro Console, and the customer needs to install an agent on each device to enable classic AI agent features, thereby adding protection to all devices.

Deploying policies like GPOs can be challenging for small customers who do not have an active directory or local directory. However, this issue isn't specific to Trend Micro alone; it can occur with any XDR solution. Trend Micro offers the option to install agents. This link lets customers download the agent, which manually self-configures during installation. This method simplifies the installation process. 

I rate the initial setup a nine out of ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy.

The product is cheap.

The reporting features are quite adequate, and the email alerts are reliable.

We always activate all features based on monitoring and AI for every customer. As cybersecurity experts, we understand the importance of these features, though customers are not required to activate them independently.

It serves as an essential last line of defense for customers despite the ease with which traditional signature-based ADA solutions can be bypassed. Trend Micro's AI-enhanced features are particularly strong, especially in combating database attacks.

I recommend the solution to small and medium businesses with a limited number of devices who cannot afford an enterprise solution should consider Trend Micro. It provides essential protection for devices and email services, making it a viable option for ensuring security.

Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

We use Trend Micro to protect our endpoints against malware and viruses. Additionally, we have a weekly scheduled scan for our endpoints to ensure comprehensive security measures.

The solution protects our endpoints but causes performance slowdowns. Trend Micro, compared to competitors such as BitDefender GravityZone and Sophos, all offer data loss prevention and traditional malware protection. Trend Micro also provides Effective Malware Elimination and virtualization features.

I have been using Trend Micro for two months.

The computer indicates 'protection at risk' because the updates aren't occurring. It must be updated regularly. When I turn on my computer, it should promptly connect to the server and update automatically. However, my protection is currently at risk because it's not ensuring the updates are happening.

I rate the solution's stability a six out of ten.

The solution is scalable. Around 100 users are using this solution.

I rate the solution’s scalability a seven out of ten.

The initial setup is not complex. You need to install it at the endpoint. The ease of implementation is there. I rate it eight out of ten.

Deployment depends on the number of users. The cloud-based interface isn't a significant concern, as it consumes little time. It can be done within a few hours if you know the desired features and settings. However, deploying the package to individual endpoints takes 10 to 15 minutes.

I rate the solution’s pricing an eight out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is high.

I suggest evaluating the competitors and assessing whether they align with your business needs. Branding doesn't hold significance for me as a security expert. I wouldn't disregard a well-known brand solely—for instance, Trend Micro, Symantec, or Kaspersky. I prioritize performance and features.

Overall, I rate the solution a six out of ten.

We use the solution for managing emails and EDR, though it has evolved over the years into an XDR solution. It now includes additional features like SOC management and real-time monitoring and analysis of endpoints.

Trend Micro effectively detects and blocks NAS devices and identifies potential threats. Security breaches or issues have been minimal in the networks where I’ve implemented Trend Micro.

Those endpoints are monitored 24/7, so even when engineers are offline, someone in the SOC always monitors them. Integration is seamless.

It's a big improvement over relying solely on Active Directory, where you need to allocate time for regular reviews or have someone monitor for issues manually. Outsourcing that to Trend Micro has been a huge help.

Improving access to training and simplifying the process of obtaining information would be helpful. While reports can be automated, making everything more accessible would be a key benefit.

Network vulnerability scanning could be improved. It would be beneficial to have internal scanning and external analysis capabilities. Trend Micro Vision One might include such features in the future, along with dark web scanning, threat hunting, and other related tools.

I have been using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for 15 years.

The product is stable.

Essentially, we download the package for the specific client we're working with and roll it out. Depending on the size and number of machines, we can either push it out through scripts or manually install it on each machine as it's set up and deployed.

You can apply configuration policies across multiple clients and systems.

Pricing is reasonable. We receive updates on pricing information on a quarterly basis. This allows us to access the most current details of their pricing process at any given time.

I'm using Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services, which covers endpoint XDR, hosted email security, and cloud security products.

Like most cybersecurity firms, Trend Micro has been using AI for decades. While generative AI is a newer development, traditional AI, like machine learning, has long been a foundation for security systems. Trend Micro leverages AI to analyze large amounts of soft data, identify anomalies, and detect variances that humans might miss or require extensive time and highly specific queries to uncover. AI significantly reduces this time. If cybercriminals understood how AI is used in detection, they could find ways to bypass it, so it remains a trade secret.

Better communication between Trend Micro and its partners regarding changes and evolving products would be beneficial. For example, while I have some emails with links to review elements in VisionOne, improved communication could enhance this process.

I recommend the solution. It is a good product and it works well.

We use the Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for various purposes. The solution offers a dashboard to view all events, manage WESB Services, and filter policies. It allows management across different network locations, providing comprehensive control in various areas. For support and troubleshooting, we can monitor PCs to see agent updates, online statuses, and any issues. Regarding compliance, especially for sensitive sites, it's essential to consider the solution's impact. 

It enhance our response to cyber threats, providing insights from various sources and reports. Additionally, it ensures secure access to VPNs through certificates, allowing us to reach servers as needed. 

The solution offers a comprehensive solution that includes antivirus, malware protection, ransomware protection, web filtering, and device control features. It provides networking capabilities, making it a robust solution for comprehensive security needs.

I have been using Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for one year.

The product is stable and reliable.

The solution’s scalability is limited. It depends on consistent internet connectivity. Each agent communicates with cloud dashboards, meaning that as long as there is internet access, communication with the agent is possible. It is tied to the capacity of the cloud infrastructure and the network bandwidth available.

When considering various antivirus solutions like Trend Micro, most vendors offer similar features at different costs. However, it's essential to carefully review each solution's features to ensure they align with your specific needs. Knowing what you require and what you're getting with your purchase is crucial to making an informed decision.

I previously used Kaspersky, which was more expensive than Trend Micro. Despite the price difference, Trend Micro's offering was comparable in terms of functionality. We switched to Trend Micro.

Before opting for Trend Micro, we evaluated several vendors and concluded that it suited our needs with minimal investment. It offers a balance of affordability and quality. Additionally, the licensing includes antivirus protection for mobile devices at no extra cost.

The initial setup is easy.  You need to review the options and test on some pieces. You must review this dashboard to see what's going on.

The work involves installing the agent on the PC. You don't necessarily need the system to be on the cloud or on-premises.

The product comes with a monthly subscription.

I use Trend Micro Worry-Free Services Suites for client-side solutions. I use a different solution for server-side services. Every file accessed and stored on the server undergoes dual vendor antivirus checks. Initially, it's scanned by Trend Micro, then undergoes another scan by a separate antivirus vendor upon storage. I implement thorough filtering and antivirus scanning.

Once installed, the agent communicates with the cloud dashboard and applies predefined configurations and policies. This setup eliminates the need for individual configuration on each PC. It allows the creation of specific groups with distinct policies based on business requirements.

We prefer to centralize solutions, including DRP, to streamline management. While it's essential to address various needs, maintaining simplicity is paramount. Multiple solutions can create a convoluted environment, making monitoring and updates cumbersome. 

One technical person is enough for the solution's maintenance.
