I am a hands-on technical marketing and field enablement professional with a passion for high technology, new innovation, and driving concepts into practice. To summarize I have well over 20 years of experience in software development and IT, and over 11 years in technical marketing, field, and sales enablement. I specialize in developing technical marketing and enablement programs for all audiences, all cultures, and in all media.

As a Senior Technical Marketing Manager for HP Software I take on many roles that include thought leadership, team building, resource management, and business alignment across several departments. But at the core of my job my goals are quite simple:

✔ Analyze the effectiveness and scalability of current technical marketing and enablement programs
✔ Continuously assess existing, new and emerging technologies and their competitive impact,
✔ Design new and better programs using new data and metrics
✔ Insure that my team has clear goals and the resources to achieve those goals
✔ Execute programs on a global scale and across cultural boundaries, and…
✔ Monitor & maintain, rinse and repeat, ensuring the programs remain relevant and evolve with the company’s objectives

In addition to my experience in technical marketing, I am also a veteran software engineer. I have an SME level of knowledge and experience in application management, cloud computing, data center management and consolidation, ITIL processes, enterprise IT consulting, and DevOps.
