1. IBM Infosphere Guardium Implementation and Monitoring
Responsibilities:

Architecture Designing and Installations:
• Capacity sizing and PVU (Processing Value Units) calculations and license requirement.
• Designing Guardium Architecture (Production/DR Setup).
• Guardium Appliances (Central Manger, Aggregator and Collectors) building and n/w configurations.
• Upgrade the Guardium Appliance 8.2 to version 9.6 and 9.6 to version 10 and RAID 1+0 configurations.
• GIM and STAP Agent installations on DB servers (MSSQL, SYBASE, TERADATA, ORACLE and DB2).
• Providing Guidance to the OS teams for the GIM installations and Working with DBA team.
• Creating Rules, Groups, Policy, Reports, custom Domain, workflows and Define Audit process jobs.
• Patch and Policy Installations and Inspection engine Configurations.
• Archive and Backup Setup.
• Define Operational Alerting for the Guardium infrastructure.
• Installing Discovery, VA and CAS modules

Troubleshooting :
• Inactive STAP, schedule job exception, aggregation archive troubleshooting.
• Audit process issues and error out empty reports issues. Data source authentication issues.
• KTAP issues and Guardium appliance issues and do the health check-up.
• Export, Archive and Backup Issues.
• Working with IBM Guardium support to resolve issues.
• Working with Application owners/DBAs for testing & deployment of Guardium.

Automations and Trainings:
• Automate the manual jobs using automation clients or the jump server by shell scripting the Guardium Installations Manager using HPSA
• Providing consultation & training to InfoSec Log Review Team.
• Prepare the knowledge base documents for team and arrange knowledge transfer sessions.
• Provide training to fresher’s and newly hired resources

Recruitment :
• Review and sort out profiles for interviews
• Conduct the Technical interviews as a part of resource hiring in our project.
