Jesse has considerable experience working in areas related to business intelligence and analytics in professional services and enterprise information management roles. He has also helped organizations manage their information systems and data strategies whether they relate to operational platforms, such as policy management or financials, or applied analytical applications such as underwriting, claims or fraud analysis. He is an established thought leader in emerging data management paradigms such as rapid prototyping, agile data management, and establishing a data culture, shifting accountability of data back to the business, and out of IT.
During his professional career, Jesse has spent over 13 years working with business intelligence and data analytics implementations associated with the insurance industry. In this role, Jesse has worked on reducing the complexity related to the vast amounts of data associated with the expanded role of information in insurance, while evangelizing the increased importance of data driven decisions in what is becoming a very competitive industry; the emerging role of establishing a data first culture where accountability and innovation drive success; and educating on the untapped potential of machine learning and AI in predictive models.
Jesse’s passions are rooted in analytics associated with bringing efficiencies to business process and the behavioral events of people to provide knowledge on various disciplines. And he loves snowboarding, and generally taking time to enjoy life.
