UniFi is a product that I can recommend if it is a small or medium-sized network. Personally, with a medium-level network, I would definitely purchase UniFi for that. I have not used the command-line option, but instead, I use the graphical interface. My understanding is that if you are good with the command line then it is easy to install. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised at all it does for such a low price.

My advice would be to research the solution first, set it up in a lab environment to make sure it's working fully before you approach a customer with it. It's a good product at a reasonable price, much better in terms of cost than Cisco which is very expensive. I would rate this solution an eight out of 10.

I always update the solution to the latest version, so I think that 99% of our customers have the latest instance. While the solution is on-premises, sometimes it has a remote login from the Ubiquiti Cloud. We're not on the cloud, we just use the login. I'd advise others considering using the solution to use a virtual machine. It's cheaper and simpler than using Ubiquiti Key. I don't know, with the integration of the cameras, if that's possible in all cases, however. In those cases, companies may have to use Ubiquiti Key. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

This is a solution that I recommend for small companies and organizations. A single controller can handle a maximum of 255 users on a single subnet. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

After a couple of years, the Access point reached EOL and no support was available for Controller updates. If we need to add new APs, they will not work with the previous controller version. This would require having to create a second controller for new APs. I would not recommend this system for a large business.

Purchase one of each device (switch, AP, USG) and try them out in a lab environment with a PC based controller. They are so cost effective you will find them impressive.
