I don't see them enhancing the product. As a consultant, I use the product that's most appropriate to the customer at the time. So, I regularly change my mind about what product I want to recommend to a customer. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

My company supports Avanan in case they face any issues with Avanan. Our customers have their own internal teams to care for their internal needs. When it comes to any issues, like some malicious file coming in contact with the customer or any such kind of issues crop up, we support them. We have not seen any issues, or maybe our customers have not approached us with any problems related to Avanan. Avanan works fine with our customers. Avanan is a very mature product. Avanan also has a proper roadmap in place in terms of its future security perspective. As a company, Check Point has almost 30 years of security experience, so they are giving proper signatures or security intelligence to their clients. With Check Point, its customers have an added advantage since it helps deal when exposed to security or newer threats for their organization. Avanan has been doing a great job after it became a part of Check Point. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Before someone implements Avanan they should have very detailed documentation on their use cases. This will allow them to be ready to write the necessary filters in conjunction with their implementation team, rather than doing it after the fact with professional services. I rate Avanan a ten out of ten.

I would highly recommend it. I would rate Avanan as 10 out of 10. It is used across the entire enterprise. This year we have extended it out beyond corporate to movie shows. Going forward, all new movies and television shows are leveraging the platform. After a year and a half of having it at corporate, we moved it out of corporate onto other projects outside. So, it has very much expanded its presence inside and outside the organization.
