I use wireless access points on the LAN. I did not utilize the VLAN support feature with Aruba Instant On Switches. I did not employ Quality of Service to prioritize traffic because it was for a home office. I did not use any security protocols such as MAC authentication or IEEE with Aruba Instant On Switches because my home network was already solid regarding security with VPNs. Through cloud-managed solutions, I did not use AWS or Azure or another cloud provider for this application, although I have used AWS in other contexts. I did not work directly for them as I was more of an outsourced consultant, and I needed to get familiar with the product because representing, selling, or consulting on a product requires thorough knowledge. I was more hands-on with the contracts and had to gather the contracts and pricing information because that was an important part of the process. Overall, I would rate Aruba Instant On Switches an eight on a scale of one to ten.

Currently, I am mostly doing troubleshooting and focused on the network solution, such as the network switch and then network control, wireless, and so on. Mostly, we are proposing the Catalyst from Cisco to our clients because Nexus is not used as much because that is more for data center usage. From the Catalyst, we mostly work with the smaller box, such as the 3000s or 5000 series, and we do not use those big boxes because our company is not that large and our customers are also small SMEs or perhaps education customers. I do not have experience working with ACI solution or Meraki MS switches as that belongs to another colleague, so I cannot really comment much on that. We are proposing and also deploying Aruba switches, Aruba Wi-Fi, and also their controllers. That is not just Aruba Instant On Switches; Aruba itself actually has the Aruba brand and also includes Aruba Instant On Switches, which is another brand targeting very small SMEs. The integration of robust security protocols helps ensure data integrity and protection in the network, as we usually apply Aruba ClearPass, but not much in Aruba Instant On Switches because the clients do not really have those requirements. I cannot really assess the flexibility in terms of deployment options for cloud-managed solutions versus on-premises because I do not have use cases to share. The performance and cost-effectiveness balance of Aruba Instant On Switches is most appreciated regarding their cost because if you classify them as enterprise-grade switches, then they are very affordable. My advice for other organizations considering Aruba Instant On Switches is that if they are looking for affordable network switches, Aruba Instant On Switches have good functionality for enterprise use cases as they support VLAN and routing. I would rate this review seven out of ten.
Sometimes some features are not available. For example, the network discovery protocol, LLDP, is not available on some of the switches. When we look at the CLI management, we are considering Cisco, and we are familiar with the Cisco commands. In that case, at the command level, Cisco is much better than Aruba Instant On Switches. Considering the configuration and the CLI level and some of the features, Cisco has better offerings than Aruba Instant On Switches. There are Netgear and some other low-cost switches, but the quality of those is not aligned with our organization's requirements. Overall, I rate Aruba Instant On Switches a seven out of ten.
There is a need to maintain the tool once on a quarterly basis. I maintain the tool by myself and with the help of another company. The tool helps with AI-driven projects by defining if there is a problem in the product. I recommend the tool to others. Aruba provides access points and switches for all our projects. As there are better products than Aurba in the market, I rate the tool a seven out of ten.
I recommended that our company's customers use switches and access points from Aruba. We don't use the tool's mobile application. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it because it offers stability and scalability. Security features for applications in the form of a firewall for access points are good. Other vendors or access points don't offer a firewall. I rate the tool a ten out of ten.

Aruba Instant On Switches is a very good solution. The access points are not very expensive. They have quite good Layer 2 functionalities but lack the Layer 3 features. When you want to deploy some BGP or Layer 3 features, you cannot use them with Aruba Instant On Switches. The solution has all Layer 2 features and can be used everywhere. The solution is the cheapest and most reliable A-class switch, and it's the best choice for its price. Aruba is a very reliable brand. It stays once you configure it, and you need to make some backup files. If the switch goes down, you just restore it from the backup, and that's all. I would strongly recommend the solution to other users. Aruba has a great forum where you can get almost all the information. If you are dealing with some troubles, it's 90% info you can find on the forum. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
As I've experienced with other devices or managers, nothing is happening with Aruba Instant On Switches. I often have to reboot the device to clear the MAC address memory. Additionally, I've never had access to my Outlook through these devices. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

If the company or the customer is a growing enterprise, we change the type of switches. You need to work as you currently account for assessing the customer before you decide to use Instant On because they may over-expect the R&D feature or expect enterprise features. Its devices cannot supervise it and are only suitable for small to medium businesses. So, if any customer or company wants to grow to the high server, they also need to adjust the type of switches or provide better-advanced features. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Aruba Instant On Switches are easy to configure. We utilize them to isolate and secure distinct parts of customer networking efficiently for security reasons. The platform's VLAN functionality has helped us with efficient network management. I rate it an eight out of ten.
I think that Aruba should include details online to let the customers know the new features of the tool and how they can connect between Aruba devices and other solutions, which would be great for our company's technicians. With proper details online, it would be easy for technicians to deal with the switches offered by Aruba, and they can even try to run the solution via cloud, like Cisco or Huawei. I rate the overall solution a seven out of ten.
Just one person is needed for the solution’s maintenance. I would recommend Aruba Instant On Switches to other users as the best option for their wireless communication. Overall, I rate Aruba Instant On Switches ten out of ten.
I rate the product a nine out of ten. It offers peace of mind. You don't have to worry about anything after implementation. You can manage it easily with less manpower.

The maintenance part of the solution is taken care of by a system integrator from Aruba's partner. The product's shortcomings limit the operations of the daily work in our company. Shortly, my company plans to look at other products in the market. Customers need to consider the drawbacks of Aruba Instant On Switches before buying it. I rate the overall solution a six and a half out of ten. To be more precise, I rate the overall solution a six out of ten.
I am not familiar with all the features of Aruba switches, as my main task is as a Wi-Fi person. If there are one or two switches, I can configure them as a layer 2 plug-and-play. You cannot use the solution at an enterprise level. You can use it for small business purposes, like Coffee shops or media. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

The Aruba Instant On 1930 switches features advanced, smart-managed, fixed configuration Gigabit switches designed for small businesses that are easy-to-deploy and affordable. They’re made to handle today’s bandwidth-heavy applications like voice and video conferencing, enabling consistent connectivity to enhance performance. Using either the Instant On mobile app or the cloud-based web portal, you can quickly set up, monitor and manage the 1930 switch series from anywhere at any time....
