Scality RING has had a positive impact on our business in that we can store backups more securely than before even though this has nothing directly to do with Scality RING but also with an S3.

However, challenges from its 2015 version like non-ideal scalability, complex setup, additional costs for backup, and frequent patching affect stability. Improvements in encryption and documentation are necessary, though its robust nature still ensures minimal data loss and reliable performance despite some concerns.
