I use Peplink SpeedFusion for VPN purposes. 

In the Philippines, VPN usage may not be widely known, but we leverage VPN effectively within my organization. I've shared our in-house systems with other district offices, as I cover fifteen municipalities and cater to the entire province. This platform is a valuable tool for us, enabling collaborative work, and allowing us to update our services remotely.

The primary use case for Peplink SpeedFusion is to manage sites. For example, Where I may have a cellular satellite or a do-away solution, and I'm gonna switch over for redundancy.

Peplink SpeedFusion sure beats Sierra Networks VPN solution and is easier for most people that don't understand VPN or SD-WAN. So through the solution's management, we only have to click and drag, and it'll automatically set up the VPN tunnel for somebody that's not familiar with it. The biggest thing is for people that aren't familiar with command line configuration. Some of the new IT people are lacking in some skill sets and the solution helps because they don't have to understand it. All they need to do is point, click, and drag to the other device and Peplink SpeedFusion sets up the VPN for them.

We host our internal application and require stable connections to our branch offices, each equipped with a minimum of two ISPs. In our headquarters, we have three. A notable feature of the solution is its link-banding. Unlike other VPNs, it ensures uninterrupted file transfers even if the primary connection or tunneling is disrupted, eliminating downtime in downloading or uploading files.

The valuable feature is that, after reading about its capabilities and using it for a while, Peplink SpeedFusion employs eight technologies within its SD-WAN profile, addressing issues like packet loss and latency. This comprehensive approach significantly reduces concerns from both customers and employees regarding communication and application.

Our primary use case is for connecting the other SD-WAN. It's used for connecting from branches to headquarters. Peplink is very strong in the device for connecting within the LTE, within the SIM console. Peplink can deploy on everything, on the building, the vehicle, mobile transportation; it's very flexible.

An advantage of the solution is Peplink is very strong if we want to use it as an LTE connection.

We're implementing this solution on all our sites. Basically, we want to utilize both ISPs that we have. In the past, we've only used active standby. Whenever we have outages, we want it to be seamless to be able to use the other connection with the other one being down.

We have two different models that we use. For the offices, we use Balance 380, and for our data center, we use Balance 710. We also have a fusion hub installed in the cloud for Azure and AWS. 

Right now, it is sitting in front of our firewalls. All of our sites have dual ISPs. So, we are load balancing the internet traffic, and we are using SpeedFusion between the sites.

It allowed us to be able to use both ISP connections at pretty much double the bandwidth. It also provided us the high availability. If one ISP goes down, it is usually transparent, so the users don't notice.

We use it for site-to-site connectivity and for video and audio broadcasting.

The SpeedFusion feature is the most valuable.

What is special in this device is that it can handle situations if there are any disconnections on one of the WAN connections.

Also, it is so user-friendly and there are lots of monitoring system features.

In our enterprise, we have more than 80 branches and also an HQ that needs to have a 24/7 connection. Before they were using MPLS connections for all of the branches and the HQ, so the price was really high, i.e., around 0.43$ million per year for 4 Mbps for the HQ, 512 kbps for the biggest branch and 256 kbps for all the other branches. With this technology, we were able to reduce expenses from 0.43$ million to 0.23$ million per year.

Also, the speed was increased (x5) by changing expensive MPLS to a simple, low-price connection like ADSL and using the cellular data network as a backup connection.

We find the technology for van moving, van bonding, van aggregation, and hot failover, and all these exciting features provide network resilience and connectivity. We are excited to present them to our customers.

Overall, all the features are excellent, and we look forward to showcasing them.

I believe there could be some enhancements in the enterprise segment, offering greater options or something similar. I'm not entirely certain. The current offerings are quite up to date, and now we're venturing into the specialized mobility space, so that's something we are looking forward to.
