The whole product is important and valuable to us.
What needs improvement?
The product needs to improve the features related to finance, supply chain, and HR administration. The UI must be improved. The product is not user-friendly. It is not browser-based. The user experience is not that good.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution since 2012.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is very stable. I rate the stability a nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I rate the scalability a four out of ten. The version we use is rigid. It uses Forms and not web technology for most transactions and maintenance. About 250 to 300 people in the organization are using the product.
How are customer service and support?
The support can be faster.
How was the initial setup?
I rate the ease of initial setup a five out of ten. It's not so difficult to set up and configure the product, but it is not entirely easy. We need a set of experienced people to deploy the solution. However, people with experience in Oracle are not difficult to find.
What about the implementation team?
We took about 18 months to implement the complete business suite.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The tool is very expensive. The solution increases the cost by eight percent every year. I rate the pricing a ten out of ten.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We compared the solution with other products like SAP.
What other advice do I have?
I'm an operational and implementation person. People interested in using the product must choose the latest version, Oracle Fusion. They must not choose the on-premises version or R12, or any other backdated versions. They must be ready to pay a considerable amount of subscription fees, and the ongoing running costs will be a little higher than on-prem. Overall, I rate the solution a five out of ten.
