Although less popular and user-friendly than Cisco, the hardware and open software enable extensive configurations. The Linux-based system is highly configurable despite integration challenges and a learning curve. No-drop traffic is a unique benefit, but potential exists for scalability improvements. Use was simpler pre-acquisition, but the current Linux-based CLI provides powerful customization.
