After using FreeNAS I will never spend money for commercial products like Dell or 3Par.
FreeNAS offers reliable, stable performance, requiring little maintenance and integrating smoothly into Windows and Linux environments. It enhances flexibility by allowing access from any device and simplifies initial setup with a user-friendly wizard. While it excels in storage capacity and rapid application development, areas like S3 support, PSA integration, and clustering need improvement. Documentation could be more comprehensive to better assist tech buyers.
