We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

ROI

Sentiment score
6.6
ServiceNow enhances efficiency and cost savings, providing ROI within a year, despite initial costs and adoption challenges.
Sentiment score
3.9
Zoho Creator provides significant ROI by replacing expensive systems, offering custom solutions and subscriptions for integration and license access.
They have removed the costs associated with on-prem infrastructure, including data center costs, power costs, and physical server costs.
The return on investment is good when implementing for ourselves and for other clients.
Manually, there are huge numbers that come up because these integrated tools help organizations make the right decisions with all the information in one place, while manual methods lack visibility.
I have seen a return on investment with Zoho Creator because we eliminated a point of sale software that was charging us 5 lakhs per year across all 26 malls.

Customer Service

Sentiment score
6.9
ServiceNow support is praised for responsiveness and resources but experiences mixed reviews due to delays and inconsistencies.
Sentiment score
4.9
Zoho Creator's technical support is praised for accessibility but criticized for delays, especially with complex issues.
The support is exemplary and deserves a perfect rating.
Obtaining support for maintenance is the current challenge because they don't have a presence in the local market.
I have contacted them four to five times over the past two years, and they have been quite helpful.
I would rate technical support as a nine on a scale of 1 to 10.
If a remote session is needed, they provide immediate help.
When issues are escalated, responses are faster.

Scalability Issues

Sentiment score
7.4
ServiceNow is scalable and effective for global operations, though performance issues and pricing concerns exist for some users.
Sentiment score
5.7
Zoho Creator is flexible and scalable, accommodating various business sizes, though high traffic may challenge efficiency.
There are no limitations or performance issues with ServiceNow; it is cloud-based, so it is highly scalable and performs well.
It is capable of vertical scaling with no issues.
I rate the scalability of ServiceNow as an eight on a scale of one to ten.
When my customers' needs are growing, Zoho Creator is able to adapt to these growing needs because it's a build-it-yourself application.
There are certain limitations if the data volume is large due to execution limits.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.7
ServiceNow is widely praised for its stability and reliability, with efficient support and minimal downtime, making it dependable.
Sentiment score
6.4
Zoho Creator is considered highly stable and reliable, with most users rating its performance between seven and nine.
It is cloud-based, so it is highly scalable and performs well.
I haven't faced any issues with stability; I've rarely seen any downtime.
ServiceNow is stable enough.
You can't rely on any software in business if it's not going to be stable and reliable.

Room For Improvement

ServiceNow needs to enhance user interface, licensing, support, integration, and analytics to improve user experience and satisfaction.
Zoho Creator needs UI/UX enhancements, improved support, and better customization, data handling, and integration to address user challenges.
It makes no sense in my opinion, and they should offer the team at the front to help customize the product to fit each company's needs, as every company has different demands and forms of submitting a request that need adjustment over time.
There is a need for bug or error tracking in ServiceNow.
Their customer support could make it a great solution, not just product support but also their relationship with partners and training initiatives in different regions.
In terms of scalability, there are certain limitations if the data volume is large due to execution limits.
I want to see improvements in Zoho Creator focusing on AI capabilities because there currently seems to be very little AI usage in Zoho compared to the advancements in other software.
Improvement could come from the ability to implement and create custom dashboards or subforms in Zoho Creator.

Setup Cost

ServiceNow is costly with complex licensing, requiring negotiation and flexibility, especially burdensome for small and regional businesses.
Zoho Creator offers competitive pricing with flexible plans, appealing to enterprises but potentially high for Indian mid-sized companies.
ServiceNow's pricing can be justified if more functionality is required.
ServiceNow does come with a price.
ServiceNow is expensive for all regions.
Zoho offers customizable pricing options, such as Zoho One, which provides access to all 40 applications for 1250.
Pricing is a little on the higher side for the Indian market, especially for mid-sized and small-sized companies with 30 to 40 users.
The standard plan costs around 800 per month for the Zoho One application.

Valuable Features

ServiceNow offers flexible customization, fast development, and strong integration, enhancing efficiency across IT, HR, and finance with robust reporting.
Zoho Creator offers a flexible, low-code platform for customizable app building, ideal for quick prototyping and diverse business solutions.
ServiceNow provides a wide range of functionality, covering all the necessary modules, unlike Jira which is primarily for IT.
Automation capabilities are impressive, bolstered by a vast repository of out-of-the-box connectors and plugins that facilitate integration with various applications worldwide.
The features of ServiceNow that I find most valuable include its ability to easily access ticket details if you know the ticket number, monitor the timeline of when the ticket was created, and see the current status.
For analytics, we employ two tools: Zoho Creator itself and Zoho Analytics, where we can use SQL queries to fetch data from multiple platforms.
We can generate QR codes for free, whereas in CRM, QR generation requires external purchases.
Zoho Creator provides a quick turnaround in terms of project closures, which is the most important benefit.

Enables effective incident management and seamless workflow automation with valuable mobile accessibility
I haven't thought deeply about improvements for ServiceNow or what might be missing right now. There are so many modules and features in ServiceNow that I haven't explored them all, so it's hard to say what might be missing or should be improved. I suggest making the cost more affordable for smaller companies.

Custom dashboards and workflows optimize business tasks, but API updates and tech support challenges remain
AI is a developing tool that could enhance many aspects. Utilizing a more advanced UI and UX capability paired with more customization and ready-made modern templates for mobile and web apps could improve mobile responsiveness and branding controls. Additionally, regarding connections, not just with Zoho apps but also with external ones, there is a need for more pre-built connectors so users do not always require custom APIs. Optimizing the handling of large data sets, providing more enterprise-grade development options, and ensuring full offline mobile apps with automatic background sync would also be beneficial. Furthermore, reducing dependency on Deluge scripts for simple automations and introducing a more intuitive drag-and-drop workflow builder would make a difference. There is indeed a large team collaborating, so they can gain from stronger visual control and improve tracking for production development workflows.
