A powerful tool for managing subscriptions within the organization
It's undoubtedly more complex compared to the initial part. It depends on the requirements. You can't categorically say that HubSpot is only suitable for smaller devices; it's adaptable to various needs. Depending on the requirements, you can have a project completed within as little as six months or as long as a few years. It's a flexible solution that can cater to your specific needs. However, it's essential to start from the beginning, designing the screens and pages within HubSpot. It's somewhat similar to building a website but generally more straightforward to use. You need to input the necessary information based on your specific requirements, and it's not limited to a predefined structure. The team initiates the process with what we term as solution design, but it's more appropriately labeled as enterprise design. This initial phase involves understanding the integration points with other systems and commencing the configuration process. It's essentially the starting point for our analysis. The analysis covers several aspects, including the language requirements, integration tools for interfacing with Java server solutions, and how to effectively use these tools. All these components must seamlessly complement each other. Once the team has everything in place and confirms the tools, they can proceed to elaborate on the specific requirements. The deployment timeline typically ranges from four to six months, specifically for straightforward or standard requirements. However, in the case of a large enterprise organization with numerous legal entities across different countries, each requiring unique interfaces for various purposes, the implementation duration is highly dependent on the specific requirements. It's not feasible to provide a fixed period for such a solution.

Automation simplifies manual tasks and facilitates team communication
There are many useful features in Smartsheet. One can easily share plans with the entire team, and it functions similarly to Microsoft Project. Creating dependencies across all tasks is smooth, and team members can make adjustments if necessary. Automation helps by simplifying some manual work, saving time and facilitating communication.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"SAP JAM has lots of possibilities and my client is using it for very specific matters, like social collaboration."
"All employees, from the CEO to the warehouse personnel, have access to Jam and contribute to the news feeds and consume content."
"Properly done, this software can be a great resource for your employees to stay engaged and connected to each other and to your organization."
"It connects to SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) and is a very useful collaboration tool for the sales, services, and marketing teams."
"One notable feature is the "improvement training," which allows you to define groups, facilitate information sharing, enable participant rating, and establish rankings. This enables you to identify which participants are actively engaged and sharing information and which ones are less active."
"The ease of use and reporting is great."
"Their support is awesome. We are on an enterprise plan and there is a customer success at Smartsheet and anyone from our licensed users can just send an email to them and they respond as soon as possible."
"The product is easy to use."
"Smartsheet is a great product if you know how to use it right."
"The ability to build a quick dashboard and give management insight into the progress of the project itself is probably one of the most beneficial pieces."
"The solution is straightforward. Whenever a requirement arises, we create three things in Smartsheet: a project plan, a dashboard, and internal documents. It is done through the form and Smartsheet's automation services. This process shortens the time to market from seven days to less than 12 hours."
"It operates as an enhanced and versatile version of Excel, offering a wide range of capabilities that allow you to accomplish various tasks and operations."
"The dashboard and the layouts are quite good."

Cons

"The user interface is still quite rigid."
"I'm hopeful for more integrations with SAP JAM in the future."
"Both layout and branding could be improved."
"Built-in integrations with other SAP products could be better. We use a SAP HCM product as well, but synching data is a tremendous issue."
"Sometimes it's a bit confusing with so many options."
"Smartsheet could improve the UI and integrations. Some of Smartsheet's competitors have more than 2,000 integrations while Smartsheet only has approximately 40 integration applications."
"The main challenge with Smartsheet is that when you start putting components on the Smartsheet dashboard, they don't know about each other. So, if I filter something in one widget, or if I click on a region or a project ID, the other widget or component and the visualization that's on that dashboard don't change. It doesn't know about the other component."
"It would be beneficial to enhance user-friendliness and make it less complex while maintaining its overall excellence as a product."
"With Smartsheet you have to refresh the sheet to see any changes being made by another user while you are working."
"The only reason we migrated to another application was the full integration available in other solutions. We never used the integration capabilities of Smartsheet."
"More intuitive access without constant logins would be beneficial."
"We have to manually put in every dependency in Smartsheet."
"The solution should include integrations with other platforms or software."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"You need to pay for additional languages. It is somewhat expensive and the payment frequency can be annual or monthly, depending on the choice. There are no extra costs beyond the standard license and implementation fees."
"The solution is too expensive."
"I would assume there is a licensing fee. I don't think that it is free."
"If I'm not mistaken, it was pretty manageable. It was about 200 bucks a seed. The business really felt a strong need for it. So, it was viewed as a safer and more straightforward cost that we were willing to pay as compared to Domo, which took some convincing."
"This licensing is straightforward and they charge per user."
"The solution is expensive."
"The solution is reasonably priced."
"For a normal license, like the one I had: I had my own Smartsheet because I wanted to play with it and I didn't want to mess with what I was doing in Verizon, so I paid $200 monthly, and it gave me all the same functionalities, so I could do whatever I wanted for $200. The problem is if you have anyone else working on it or deploying on it, it's $200 a month for every single person who's deployed on it, that's working on it as an owner or an administrator, so owners and administrators are the only ones who can change, edit, and add data to worksheets and columns. Depending on the size of your organization, Smartsheet can be costly. As for implementing its Control Center, Smartsheet forces you to have three people come in: it's a minimum of three people from Smartsheet for three months who will provide you the solutions for the Control Center side, and that's $150 an hour, so it can become very expensive. For my company, not having the Control Center would save on the setup fees and then the $20,000 a year, because the Control Center of Smartsheet is a yearly subscription of $20,000."
"Smartsheet only requires licenses for project managers. When we were using Asana, we had to purchase a license for everyone who wanted to access their tasks and use the system. That gets costly fast. It was one of the main reasons we left Asana. As Asana and these other tools scale, they become way more expensive."
