Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
"We used almost all of the features, themes, styling guide, and approach components. They are useful in our applications.""The flow editor is the most valuable feature. It is simple and intuitive, and it can guide you step-by-step.""It is easy to use.""We have no complaints surrounding both the scalability and stability of this solution.""OutSystems is easy to use.""There is literally a ton of stuff it can do. It's very flexible.""One thing I like about OutSystems is that there's no lock-in. You can keep running your applications because it's on .NET and hosted centrally. That's one of the advantages I see there in terms of not having an IT strategy that has a dependency on a particular platform.""We can do the validation before calling the API."

"It was pretty easy to deploy.""We used it for providing a 360 view of the customers from within Salesforce. So, a lot of data got presented there, for which we used Einstein Analytics. The Einstein Analytics dashboards were really great.""The solution is easy to use.""We use this solution to track customer activities, opportunities and contact information.""I like it because of the fact that it lets me know what I'm working on and what I've recently worked on. It also helps me and allows me to do tracking. If I want to go out and find out how many times I've touched customers, I can find that information out. It tracks such information, and we use it. If we send any type of promotions out, it tracks who gets those promotions and how they've responded to those promotions.""The solution has plenty of features that are useful.""The standard sales and marketing tools that Salesforce provides on the platform are the most valuable.""Salesforce is a phenomenal application. It's very diverse."

"The integration points need to be increased. People have also started to adopt this solution for their regular needs. That means it's not only the big enterprises that are adopting this solution. There are also small and medium enterprises that are adopting it. I've read that where you have large deployments, OutSystems starts to crumble a bit. That is the idea that no customer would know at the beginning and would also not like to hit the wall there. When it is on the client, there are a lot of applications already on low-code, and then suddenly you realize that you want to do some big applications, and you face hurdles. This is the general feedback for all such platforms.""We had some lagging issues under high data loads, and the solution needed to be customized to improve this.""It's difficult to do the component version control. I would like them to add more studying materials.""Currently, in mobile applications, we don't have push notifications.""There are not enough resources on the market.""The prices should be lower. It is a little bit too high for a small market.""Since we first started using OutSystems, they switched their language support from Java and .NET to .NET only, which was a bit of a surprise. Their language support could be better in this sense, although on our resource side it is now a bit more flexible.""In my opinion, the support and the pricing could be better."

"There's a learning curve. It was a bit hard to understand the logical way of working with it, just at the beginning.""It could be maybe a bit more user-intuitive.""There needs to be more documentation.""Technical support could be a bit faster.""The reporting functionality is not very intuitive.""The reporting for Salesforce could be approved. It is a manual process and it would be useful to have a guide or videos on how to generate reports or any other cool things that you could do with the platform.""Instead of creating our own template, if we had some nice templates that we could pick up - if there were some Microsoft Word templates or Microsoft Excel templates in a repository in Salesforce, that would be great.""Salesforce is a pretty cumbersome product. It's a product that you need to spend quite a bit of time customizing to your unique business model. Unless you have somebody in house that knows it really well, you're better off spending money with a consultant to get what you need."
