The Briefing Book feature enables measures to be filtered and viewed based on different criteria by end users.
This software is targeted at executive users, not the data analysts who want to slice and dice. The software will not replace your BI tools, but it will sit nicely on top of a BI tool if you want management to have quick and easy access to performance data. Data analytics has transformed our KPI tracking and now drives faster sales decisions
This tool has given me the power to convert data into new analytical applications, giving me transparency about working on multiple platforms, and since it is cloud-based, it combines different pages for a complete progress report. Overall, it is playing a perfect, fantastic role in my organization. Some of the best features Sisense offers include its speed due to the In-Chip methodology, great visualization that makes BI easier, and the ability to load millions of data in seconds, which did not seem possible with other traditional reporting tools. It also has a robust architecture and provides REST APIs for external access. I emphasized the In-Chip methodology because it allows for accessing millions of data in a short span of seconds while providing the best visual effects for our business data.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It is a comprehensive solution for performance management, and yet it is easy to setup and easy to use, especially in comparison with Oracle, SAS, Hyperion and SAP."
"Whenever we have an issue or are unsure how to proceed, they manage to simplify the issue and help us execute it in a graceful and scalable way."
"We monetize Sisense to our customers so they can transform it into their application, and it works as a native application."
"Overall I think, it is a fantastic value-for-money analysis tool and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who looks for a up-to-date BI solution that can be customized to your specific needs."
"Sisense positively impacts our organization by speeding up the process of getting and presenting the data to customers or stakeholders, which normally takes a lot of time due to curation and presentation efforts."
"The dashboard design interface is very intuitive and allows you to quickly and easily produce professional, innovative dashboards."
"Ability to work with very large data sources without the limitations of Excel."
"We dropped Excel and saved hours of finance team work, with automated reports and dashboards."
"ROI was realized immediately by reducing manual report labor."

Cons

"It needs to have better quality built in reports."
"I did encounter an issue with the Dashboard load time to be slow considering that we had a basic dashboard with five reports and no more than 300 rows was disconcerting."
"We are moving to a better tool."
"Sisense has some limitations, especially in rendering tables or graphs. For example, if you want to perform custom sorting or searching based on multiple columns, that becomes quite tricky."
"My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is cost-effective, but for smaller organizations working under a tight budget, this tool might be a bit expensive for them."
"I would say that using Sisense on Linux's platform might not be advantageous for everyone."
"The only thing I am missing is the option to plug in any data from any source easily since Sisense only offers a limited amount of supported data providers."
"Handling extremely large data sets, for example in marketing teams or in the finance department, makes it sometimes slower in performance, which is somewhat frustrating."
"Some flexibility with the labeling of visualizations would be nice."
